Sometimes I Just Need to be Artsy...

Hi everyone!  If you have never checked out the Midnight Madness weekly sketches,
you have no idea what you are missing!  Priscilla has a fantastic blog and weekly,
she challenges her readers to stretch themselves with her sketches.  And guess what?!
I am a finalist to win the newly created 'Priscilla Award'!  Please check it out HERE and cast your vote!
Also, don't forget the Blog Candy she is giving away this month for her one year blogaversary!
Just click on the photo in my sidebar to see the details!
I made this card for this week's sketch and I was in the mood to be a little artsy!  It also fits this week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge to make a card with sponging and distressing.
I have always loved this little girl image that I purchased at a stamp show this last February from the Stampland booth.  Tons and tons of sponging and, yep, Glimmer Mist!  LOL!
Look Priscilla!  I used some of that gorgeous trim you sent to me!!!  Thanks again!!!!
Anyway, I'll be back soon!  Thanks for stopping by!

Here are the supplies I used:
Neenah Cream Cardstock
SU! Soft Suede Cardstock
K&Co Designer Paper
Cuttlebug Damask Embossing Folder and Vintage Corner Die
Martha Stewart Pearls and String
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo and Antique Linen Inks
Color Box Ink (Thanks Mom!)
Pearl Glimmer Mist

  6. Sandee this is beautiful! MAkes me think of a scrapbook page someone might have made a long time ago and had in a precious album. I promise to faithfully preserve it if it would wind up in my mailbox! :) Thank you for participating this week in the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge.

  11. Sandee, I love these colors! Thanks for stopping by my little blog. My husband just got me a Gypsy two weekends ago for my birthday which is coming up next week. Haha. He couldn't wait to give it to me and I couldn't wait to use it! I do hope you get one too. Well, thanks again and I will be seeing you around I'm sure!
