A Look Back at the October Mid-Month Release from ODBD

Good morning!

Thank you for joining us as we look back at the

My card features the new stamp set called Perfect Light and the new Merry Mosaics dies!  The designer papers are from the Vintage Ephemera 6x6 paper pad. I paired the papers with cream and dark brown card stock.  I distressed the edges of the designer paper panels and used antique linen ink, white paint and stickles to shabby it up even more!  The other ODBD supplies I used are: Circle Ornament dies, Matting Circle dies, Doily dies, Peaceful Poinsettia dies, and the Vintage Flourish Pattern die.

A Look Back at the ODBD October Release

 Good morning!

Thank you for joining us today
as we share even more projects using the

I am loving this companion set to the Peaceful Poinsettia dies called Merry Mosaics Dies!  I cut lots of flowers and leaves from both die sets.  I used a small cotton ball and an alligator clip to color the centers and some of the petals with Fired Brick ink.  I stamped the sentiment from Christmas Tunes in that same ink.  I added pieces of a Fancy Foliage die cut too!  The background is the Boho Background die over the Flourished Star Pattern die.  I added the tiny bow from the Windowsill Candles die and then completed the card with pearls!

Here is another card:

Don't you just love the new Flourished Alphabet?  I decided I wanted to create a pink and cream Christmas card this time.  The pink ink is heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I used the Elegant Embellishments set with the matching Elegant Embellishments dies.  I hung them from the Fancy Foliage 'tree' branch with a bow from the Circle Ornaments dies!  The sentiment is from Christmas Tunes.

I just love the tiny little bows!

Here is my second card:

Here is my first card again:

This cute little reindeer is from the new set called Merry and Bright!  I stamped him onto kraft card stock and colored him with copics, using an ODBD Oval die to cut him out.  I added stickles to parts of the image too.  The paper is from ODBD Christmas 2014 Paper Collection.  I cut the curvy layer with and ODBD Leafy Edged Border die.  I cut the words out and popped them up with foam tape.  I added the blue twine and button and then the sequins to complete the card!

Here is my second card:

Oh my goodness, these little Caroling Penguins are too cute!  I colored them with copics and fussy cut the whole image out.  I stamped the image again and cut it out with the largest of the ODBD Matting Circles dies.  The circle was placed behind a curvy border made with the ODBD Leafy Edged Border and then the cut out image of the penguins was popped up and 'glitterized'!  LOL!  The designer paper is from ODBD Patriotic Collection!  I added a sentiment from the Merry and Bright set.  The button in the corner and the sequins were the final touches.

Here are the new sets I used today:

Here is my first card again:
I had so much fun making this with all the layers and delicate colors!  And the little touch of sparkle is perfect for Christmas!  I used Pan Pastels to give hints of color but other than that this card is all white and glittery!  The sentiment is from the Christmas Carols set and is cut out with a Stitched Oval die. I added the three Elegant Embellishments Dies to a background made with the Vintage Flourish Pattern die.  The 'boughs' are made with a Fancy Foliage die and I added three little bows from the Circle Ornaments dies!
Here is my second card:
I love these new ornaments!  The Elegant Embellishments set along with the matching Elegant Embellishments dies are so fun!  I made a quilted window background with Ovals dies, the Boho Background die and a Flourished Star Pattern die.  The ornament has a layer of Glossy Accents to give it that
glass ornament look!  I just added the silver thread
and red sequins to complete the card!
