Cuttlebug Challenge #67

Good morning everyone!

Today is another Be Inspired Wednesday challenge for you from
The Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot!
This week we are creating ATC's for Valentine's Day!
I love making ATC's. The smaller size can be challenging but is really fun too!
The base for both of my ATC's is a regular standard size (2 1/2 x 3 1/2) playing card!

This ATC is all Cuttlebug, no stamping! The papers are SU! Whisper White and Real Red patterned paper. I sponged with Rose Red ink. The background and the sentiment are done with the Love Language Combo embossing folder and dies. I also used Floral & Scroll Border Dies and Hearts and Stamps Bundle Dies. I added extra flowers, layering a few of them. I finished with lace, pink sparkly thingies, red twine and red rhinestones.

Now, for this card, I embossed a piece of pink designer paper with the Heart Blocks embossing folder and dirtied it up with Creamy Caramel and Chocolate Chip inks. Then, I stamped the Inkadinkado image with Memento Brown ink onto vellum and used clear embossing powder. I attached this right over the pink and made sure is was stuck down real good. (I used my Xyron for the adhesive) I dirtied it up some more, added the lace, pearls, brown twine and SU! flowers and large pearl.
I hope I have inspired you to make your own little ATC's!
Don't forget to check out what the other designers have for you today over at

Simply Amazing Grace

Good Morning! I wanted to share something a little different with you today. I have been participating in a monthly Artist Trading Card group for quite a while now and I really wanted to show you how Our Daily Bread designs stamps can be used for this type of project as well as cards and other projects. ATC's are the size of a playing card (2 1/2 by 31/2 )and are not meant to be sold, they are only to be traded with fellow artists. It's very important to sign and date your artwork before trading. It's also a great way to recycle! For the backs of my cards, I used cardboard from packaging. In the group that I trade with, the hostess chooses a recording artist and the participants to choose a song title by that artist and make an ATC based on only the title of the song. September's artist is Neil Diamond and I chose the song Simply Amazing Grace! This was a perfect opportunity to use the ODBD's Amazing Grace Collection! I randomly stamped the Amazing Grace Hymn onto some beige designer paper, sponged it with ODBD Terra Cotta ink and sprayed it with Gold Glimmer Mist. I punched blue coordinating designer paper with Martha's lacy border punch and sprayed with more glimmer Mist. I used Versamark ink to stamp the dogwood flower and the word grace from Grow in Grace set, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I cut these pieces out and attached them with foam tape, glue and my Xyron sticker maker. I heat embossed more gold around the edges of the card. Then I added the little Martha butterflies and gold pearls and gold organdy ribbon. I really enjoy working with this smaller canvas. ATC's are fun and allow you to expand your creativity. I hope you have enjoyed this post today and maybe you will be inspired to join a swap and see what others will share with you! I hope you all have a fantastic day! Thanks for stopping by!
