Enjoy your Cupcake!

Hello again!
Not really sure why this card looks bent in two places at the top but it doesn't in real life!
Must be shadows?  Weird!

This is for the CAS challenge this week-Sweet Treats.  The ODBD image is called Cupcake Plate and is on sale now!  The sentiment is from a retired set called Admit One.  I colored the image with copics and cut it out to pop up over the layer that is embossed with and ODBD Oval and ODBD Double Stitched Rectangle.  I cute the sentiment with an ODBD Mini Tags die.  I added stickles and a tiny bow to complete the card!

Thanks for stopping by again!  Have a wonderful day!

Merry Monday Challenge-One Layer Card

 Hey there!

I made this card for this week's

One layer cards are one of THE hardest cards for me to do!  Probably because I never have paper substantial enough (in my opinion) to not appear flimsy when I am done!  Y'all know me!  I am a layer kinda girl!  LOL!  But since I am determined to actually meet my quota of Christmas cards this year, I decided to try this challenge.  I did remember getting some very sturdy card stock last year, so I searched the world over and finally found it hiding in my stash of paper! This card stock is very thick but it is great for copics and it is very sturdy paper.  The only problem I had was folding it in half.  I ended up sanding it a little to smooth the paper breaks.  Anyway, I like the finished result and I did make a second card just like this!  Woohoo!  Two more down!

This stamp set, Worship the Lord, is one of my all time favorite sets from Our Daily Bread designs!  I framed it by embossing around the image with an ODBD Rectangle die.  I colored with copics and then added stickles to give sparkle to the snowy/icy areas!

I am also entering this to:

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Hello!  I am back again!  Told you I have been busy!
I have two more Christmas cards to share!

This first one is for the CAS360 challenge to use snow and or ice.  I heat embossed the ODBD Snowflake Border Background and cut it out with an ODBD Double Stitched Rectangle.  This panel is layered with an ODBD Flourished Star Pattern die cut.  The sentiment is from ODBD Snowflake Sentiments and cut out with an ODBD Stitched Oval.  The ODBD Sparkling Snowflake are also embossed and cut with ODBD Snowflake dies.  I added pretty ribbon and sequins to complete this card!

Here is my second card:
For this card I used the Poinsettia Wreath.  I colored the image with copics, stamped a second flower and the bow to add dimension.  The images are cut out with the matching Poinsettia Wreath dies.   The wreath is hanging from the ODBD Window die cut and is layered over a pink panel embossed with a Double Stitched Rectangle.  The sentiment is cut with a Stitched Oval.  I added stickles for a little sparkle!

Warm Wishes

Last week I learned of the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge Blog!  And guess what?  I got Honorable Mention for my card last week!  Woohoo!!  Thanks Merry Monday!!!  So, I am playing again.  This time the challenge is to use a warm beverage.  This cute image (Warm My Heart)  is from North Coast Creations (an ODBD sister company) and is stamped onto Kraft paper  and ODBD Christmas (2014 and 2015) paper and then paper pieced.  The Double Stitched Rectangle dies are from ODBD also.

Thanks for stopping by!
I have more cards to share later! I've been busy, busy!

Another Look at the ODBD January Release!

Good morning!

We are so happy to have you with us today as we take a look back at the ODBD January Release!  My first project is done with the Your Heart bible journaling stamp.  I made two ATC's (Artist Trading Cards)!  I did the masking technique to split up the scripture.  Then I cut them out with a Rectangle die, and colored each with copics to match the Shabby Rose papers!  The papers are adhered to a piece of chipboard from packaging.  I sanded the edges and then added a little bit of white paint.  I also cut a Beautiful Border and cut it to fit each card.  I added a tiny bow and a single pearl to complete the ATC's!  What do you think?

And below, I tried my hand at another page in my bible with the New Mercies stamp!

I colored it in with Crayola Twistables.
I doodled a little border, added a little bit of my own words and then dated it.

Here are the ODBD products I used for these projects:

My First Merry Monday Christmas Challenge!

Hi there!  I am playing in a 'new to me' challenge at the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge Blog!  This week the challenge is to use plaid.  I can't remember who makes this paper but I have used both sides of the same sheet on this card.  The card stock is cream.  The image is James Snowman from LOTV and is colored with copic markers.  The sentiment is from SU!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  See you again tomorrow!

May All Your Wishes Come True

 Hello again!

I am entering this card into the ODBDSLC269, to use something new and something old.  The new, of course, is the ODBD Wishing Well stamp set.  The old is the green ribbon!  I have had that stuff for quite a few years!  I colored the image with copics.  I made the frame with the Flourished Star Pattern dies and the Double Stitched Circle dies.  And the distressed panel between the frame and the base card is from the Rustic Beauty Paper Collection.

Here are the ODBD products I used for this card:

Good morning!  I hope you ARE having a good day!

I was able to play in the Splitcoast Sketch and CAS challenges today!  I made this card with several ODBD products.  The Wishing Words set is new along with the Wishing Die.  I used Memento Lady Bug ink for the sentiment and the word die.  I also used Double Stitched Circle Dies and Double Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I just added pink rhinestones to complete this very CAS card!

It's a Free For All!

In my quest to create more than enough Christmas cards this year, I have another one done!  Thanks to Robin for the snow challenge in the Free 4 All Splitcoast challenge today for the jump start for this card!   This one is very similar to the ONE I made a week or so ago.  Same sets, Warm Wishes and Snowflake Border, but also Mini Tag Sentiments!  I used the oval from the Large Bow die set to cut the sentiment out.  I cut the frame with the Double Stitched Rectangle dies and and Oval die.  I heat embossed the snowflake border with white ink and clear powder.  I added stickles and a tiny little red bow to complete the card!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a fabulous weekend!

WT565, Warm Wishes

Today's Ways to Use It challenge at SCS is to use something you have been holding on to and hopefully use it all up!  I have held on to this pretty SEI designer paper for ever!  I still have a little bit left so may have to come up with another little project one of these days!  The image is from Let It Snow! by North Coast Creations.  I used an ODBD Rectangle and Double Stitched Rectangle die and added stickles for a little Christmas sparkle!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Shabby Birthday Wishes

Hello!  Hope you are having a great week!

I made this card for the Sketch Challenge today at Splitcoast!  I used the new ODBD Wishing Well set.  I colored the image with copics and cut it out with a Circle Die.  It is layered with a Double Stitched Circle and the largest Doily die. The background papers are from the Shabby Rose Paper Collection.  I added a Beautiful Border and cut out the whole panel with the largest die in the Flourished Star Pattern dies set.  I also cut out a Tres Papillon Butterfly from the Shabby Rose paper.  The sentiment is cut with a Pennant die and I added pearls and a seam binding bow to complete the card!
