Happy Birthday!

Good morning!

I have a quick card to share that I made using the theme and sketch from this month's Fan Club at SCS.  The designer paper is from my stash and I no longer remember who made it!  But it is a birthday theme and I thought it would be cute with this new set from ODBD called Baking Gift Tags.  There is a cute little cupcake stamp included in the set along with a couple of circle type stamps.  And there is a matching ODBD/Spellbinders Recipe Card and Tag Die!!!  WooHoo!  I colored the cupcake with copics to match the paper and then stamped the scalloped circle.  I cut it out with the die and adhered it to the top of the banner.  The birthday sentiment is from the ODBD set called Little Boys.  The twine is Martha Stewart that I bought a long time ago.  I am really trying to use my stash of stuff without buying so much new!  Hoping to save a little money that way, ya know?

Here are the ODBD supplies and stamps I used:

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Snowflake Tag

ODBD

Hi there!!!  Just a quick little tag to share with you using the new ODBD Sparkling Snowflakes set along with the Snowflake Sentiments set!   I covered a piece of chipboard from some packaging materials with some pretty musical designer paper.  I painted the edges with white acrylic paint and then also sponged them with Vintage Photo distress ink.  I stamped the snowflakes and the sentiment on the same paper and cut them out using the ODBD/Spellbinders Snowflakes Dies and a Spellbinders Oval.  The sentiment is framed with the ODBD/Spellbinders Elegant Oval Die.  I added lace and pearls and buttons.  I made a hanger with seam binding and added a pretty bow I made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker!  Then I added stickles here and there for a little sparkle!

I am submitting this to the ODBDSLC134 challenge to create using the word NOEL.  N-notes, O-oval, E-elegant oval, L-lace.  Also, entering this to the SCS Fan Club Monthly Theme-Hang It All!  Here are the ODBD supplies I used:

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Enjoy your week and I'll see you again soon!

Sneaking in Creating Time

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts and kind words as I transition into this next phase of my life.
I feel so blessed to be able to spend time with you all through blog land!  If you missed out on what is going on, here is a link to the post explaining things.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I snuck in a little time this morning to make this card!  Packing up to move is not so much fun.  I may be procrastinating, I'm not sure!  LOL!!  This beautiful new ODBD set, Christmas Door,  has been calling my name for weeks now and I couldn't put it off a minute longer!  I have a black door on my house now and I wanted to color this image to match!  I colored it with copics and added Stickles for a little sparkle on the garland and wreath.  I cut out the sentiment with a Spellbinders Labels 7 die and distressed the corners.  The SU! designer paper is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and inked with SU! Riding Hood Red to highlight the raised areas.  I added lace and ribbon, a Bow Easy bow, and some snowballs.  Then I sprayed the whole card with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist.  The card stocks are white and SU! Gray.  I followed the Dirty Dozen sketch on SCS for this month for my design!

I made this card a couple of weeks ago.  This new ODBD set, Christmas Ornaments, was created to coordinate with Spellbinders Holiday Tags dies!  I heat embossed the image in silver and colored in the design with Soft Sky ink.  The blue paper is from Archiver's and matches nicely with Soft Sky.  The embossing is done with a Sizzix folder and I used Stickles on the swirls and along the edges of the ornament.  The silver cord is tucked between the layers.  The sentiment is heat embossed too and I sprayed the whole card with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist!

Missing You

Good morning!!!!  It's Friday!!!!

Here is a card I made for the following challenges:

This beautiful image is one of the new sets just released by Our Daily Bread designs called Missing You.  I stamped it with Memento Black ink onto Neenah White card stock and then colored it with copic markers.  I cut it out and layered it with a couple of Spellbinders Circle die cuts.  Then I attached the circles to a Spellbinders Eyelet Circle Die cut.  I lace organdy ribbon through the holes and added a pretty bow I made with my Bow Easy.  The designer paper is Anna Griffin.  The flower is from my stash and I don't remember who makes them but I bought them at Michaels.  I added the pearls to complete the card!
Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a great weekend!

Tenderness for the Past

Just one more week left until Christmas! Are you ready? I think I am! But you know there is always something you think of at the last minute! Anyway, I've been so busy that I haven't had time to make a card but I couldn't stand it another minute! I made this tonight for the Dirty Dozen sketch and theme this month. I used a piece of SEI designer paper that I sprayed with Brick Glimmer Mist, and attached this to a piece of Night of Navy. I colored the poinsettia image from the set called His Gift by Our Daily Bread designs with copic markers and then misted this with Brick Glimmer Mist. I made the bows with my little Bow Easy. I used an
EK Success border punch and Martha's leafy branch punch. This is all attached to a base card of Ruby Red. I added gold pearls to finish the card.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Thanks for stopping by tonight!

Two Challenges Collide!

Hey y'all!! Hope everyone has had a great day!

I just made this for this week's color challenge and this month's Dirty Dozen challenges! The colors we were challenged with were Basic Black, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla with an extra challenge to make it sparkle. I used the Dirty Dozen sketch and extra challenge to add texture. This sentiment is from one of the new December sets from Our Daily Bread designs called Peace and Joy. I embossed a piece of vanilla cardstock with the StampinUp! poinsettia embossing folder and sprayed it with Suede and Marshmallow Glimmer Mist. I used an EK Success border punch on the strips and added lace and black ribbon. The sentiment is cut out and layered with Spellbinders die cut squares (classic, inverted and scallop). I made the bow with my Bow Easy tool. I added Zva pearls and black pearls. Then I added the Martha branches and more pearls to finish the card!

Thanks for looking and have a great night!

Hearts, Thoughts, Prayers

I'm back! I made this card this afternoon but just now getting it posted. I used this week's Midnight Madness Sketch and the current Dirty Dozen Monthly Theme, Winged Things. I combined two of the three October releases from Our Daily Bread designs, With Heartfelt Sympathy and With Deepest Sympathy. I never bought the Baja Breeze ink to match the Parisian Breeze designer paper, so I used Soft Sky re-inker to stamp the image. I used the re-inker because I also don't have that ink pad either but what I do is scribble the ink onto an acrylic block and tap the stamp into the ink and then stamp! It usually comes out a little fuzzy or dreamy looking instead of a crisp impression but I like the look! I then stamped the sentiment over this with Memento Brown. I pierced around the edges so that I could sew with linen thread. For the three corners, I pierced the holes and tapped a Chocolate Chip marker on the holes to give the look of eyelets and added the linen thread. For the dragonflies, I stamped again with the re-inker, sponged the edges and then sprayed them with Pearl Glimmer Mist. Then I added all the brown pearls to finish the card! Loved this sketch! Thanks MMSC!!! And thank you for visiting with me again tonight! Enjoy your week!

Paper-Kraft, Archivers paper that matches Baja Breeze, Parisian Breeze dp, White
Ink-Memento Brown, Chocolate Chip, Sof Sky
