Hello, my friend!

Hello!  Hope your weekend was wonderful!
Mine was good!  The weather is awesome!  I am so glad that Fall is here!!!

I made a card this afternoon.  For no reason!  LOL!!!  I love the new dress form stamps from ODBD!  This one, called Elizabeth, is my favorite.  I also wanted to try something new.  First of all I rarely use these shades of blue except for masculine cards.  They are not the first colors I am usually drawn to when I create.  And, I always use black or brown when stamping an image to color.  Always.  Not this time!  I used Colorbox Graphic 45 Decades in Bon Voyage Blue.  And then I colored with copics to match all the designer papers.  I also sponged the edges of all the panels with the same ink.  Behind the image panel is a layer cut with the ODBD Vintage Labels dies.  The long strip on the side is cut partially with one of the Pennant dies to get the pennant shape.  The sentiment is from the Ornate Borders Sentiments set.

Well, thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your week and I will see you again soon!

It's Time to Look Back at the ODBD September Release!

Good morning!
Today we are taking a look back at the ODBD September releases!
Thanks for joining us today!

For my card today, I used Hand Knit, Stitches and Doily Blessings.  I also used the new ODBD Custom Doily Dies and  ODBD Custom Knitting Basket and Yarn Dies in addition to the new Soulful Stitches Paper Collection!  I distressed all of the edges and sponged ColorBox ink on each panel.  I stamped the doily with that same ink.  I colored the yarn with copics and cut it out with the die.  The sentiment is on an ODBD Custom Vintage Label die cut.  Then I just added a button, and some cute little scissors to complete the card!

Here are the ODBD products I used for this card:

Here is another card that is quick and easy!

For this card I used the Hand Knit set and the coordinating Knitting Basket and Yarn Dies you can see pictured above.  I kept this one clean and simple just embossing the frame with a Spellbinders Square and adding the twine that I 'dyed' with a copic marker to match the yarn in the basket! And that is it!

True Friendship

Good morning!

Here is a quick and easy card I made with the beautiful Doily Blessings set new this month from ODBD!   I stamped it and then embossed the square with a Spellbinders square.  Then I used a stamp-a-ma-jig to help me get the placement of the sentiment.  This sentiment is from a former release called Sentiments Collection 3.  This panel is attached to the base with foam tape.  I added a half pearl to complete the card!  This is for the ODBDSLC213-Make it stitched themed or real or faux stitching.  And also for Word Art Wednesday 150-Anything goes with scripture or encouraging word.

Hope you have a blessed day!  See you again soon!

A Gift for You

Hi there!  Hope you are having a great week!  I have another card for you with the new Elf stamp from NCC!  I just love him!  I followed the Sketch Challenge today at Splitcoast.  I colored him with copic markers and cut him out with a Spellbinders Square.  I adhered the designer paper to another piece of card stock and then embossed it with a Spellbinders Marvelous Square.  The snowflake is from the ODBD set called Sparkling Snowflakes which has a matching Snowflake die set.  I added a bow and some sequins to complete the card.

I forgot to mention that the sentiment is from ODBD Ornate Frame Sentiments!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful evening!

Stitched in LOVE

Hi there!
Here is one of those cards where the gorgeous papers do most of the work for you!  LOL!!!
It is the new Soulful Stitches Paper Collection from ODBD!
I stamped the doily from Doily Blessings in a few places, sponged the edges of all the layers, added bunches of layers and a pretty bow.  The sentiment is from the new Stitches set and is cut out with the ODBD Antique Labels and Border die.  The scissors are from the ODBD Apron and Tools dies set and are sponged to get the matching color.  And that is it!
Hope you  all have a wonderful week!!!  See you again soon!

ODBDSLC213-Stitch It!

Good morning!  Hope you are having a great week!

I have a card to share for the ODBDSLC213-Stitch It
I did not do any actual stitching but it is a stitching theme! But the ODBD Soulful Stitches Paper Collection has a little faux stitching that you can see at the bottom.

I had fun making this shabby card!  Lots of distressed edges and tons of layers and embellishments!  The beautiful new Doily Die cuts so beautifully and even looks pretty when it isn't embossed if you want a different look.  And the little buttons are a perfect touch!  The sentiment is from the Doily Blessings set.  I also cut a Beautiful Border out of the same paper and added a seam binding bow.

Here are the ODBD products I used for this card:

I Am So Thankful For You!

Hello there!  I have a card to share using some of the new products that ODBD released on the first.  My background was created by using the doilies as masks and sponging through the pattern.  Then I used those same sponged doilies on the card tucked behind the large die cut from the Doily Dies set.  The sentiment is from the Doily Blessings set and the dress form image is called Victoria.  She is colored with copics and fussy cut. I used the same ink to die the seam binding before making the bow, and I topped it off with a button to complete the card!  Here are the ODBD products I used:

Welcome to the ODBD September Release!

Good morning!  Once again we are so thankful you are spending time with us, as we showcase
Especially since it is Labor Day here in the states!

So let's get right to it.

Here are details of how you can win today:

Three winners will be randomly chosen from the comments left on the designers blogs to receive a $15 Gift Certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website.  You have until September 2, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on September 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

I love dress forms and doilies so this release is right up my alley!  The dress form image I used for this card is Elizabeth.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out.  I layered 'her' over a die cut from ODBD Custom Vintage Flourish Pattern which is stamped with a sentiment from the new Doily Blessings set.  I cut out and embossed several of the doily pieces from the ODBD Custom Doily dies and used those pieces as accents.  There is a piece from the new Soulful Stitches Paper Collection
I added a bow to complete the card.

Here is my second card:

This time I went more CAS.  I made a frame with the largest die in the Doily set and stamped the sentiment, which is also from Doily Blessings.  I cut the doily leaving it un-embossed but then embossed just the center with another die in the set.  I then cut out the little button in the same green paper and threaded crochet thread and made a bow for the center.

Aren't you just loving this release???
