Five Christmas Cards in April!

Hello!!!  Here are my April cards for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge!  I only made five this month but that is ok!  These were simple to do.  All white with a generous splash of red!  I cut out the Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornaments.  I also cut out a frame with a smaller size, which I tucked back into the original opening.  I used some pretty red papers behind the Ornaments.  I stamped the sentiment from the ODBD set called Chickadee Ornament and added pretty red bows I made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker!

Here are the ODBD supplies I used:

Crave The Rose

Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I made this card for the inspiration challenge on SCS today.  The inspiration is from Dry Goods and I chose this photo.  However, while I had good intentions of coloring with like colors from the photo, well I changed my mind and went with colors of roses from my yard instead!  But I did keep the floral theme with a black and white background!

The rose image and sentiment is from the new North Coast Creations set called Crave The Rose.  I colored with copics and cut it out with a Spellbinders Oval using the out of the box technique.  A Spellbinders Scalloped Oval frames it.  I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the background and used the Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles for the card base.

Here is the full set:

Earth Laughs in Flowers

Hello!  Hope your day is going great!    Here is a card I made using the new ODBD Morning Glory set!   I colored the image with copics and cut it out with the Spellbinders Labels 26 and popped it up over pretty designer paper that I embossed.  I made the seam binding bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker and added pretty pearl swirls!

Birds Without Barn

Hi there!  Hope you are having a great Saturday!

I have a card to share using the ODBD Finch Collage that released this month!  I am playing in the Inspiration Challenge today on SCS.  I was inspired by a couple of art pieces at the My Deco website:

and

I stamped the collage and then colored it up with copic markers.  I stamped it again, colored the bird and the stamp and cut them out to pop up for a little dimension.  Then I just added the rhinestones to the flowers to complete the card!

North Coast Creations April Releases!

 Good morning!!!
Welcome to the North Coast Creations April Release!

I love this month's releases!  I adore roses and there are two sets featuring roses!  And a great masculine set featuring a motorcycle!  I am married to a Harley man so this is perfect!  To get all the details of this release hop head over to the NCC Blog and then follow all the links to the designers creations!

One blessed winner will receive
a $10 gift certificate to the NCC store for stamps!
Just for commenting on our cards!

You have until April 17, 2013 at 9:00 pm EST to make those comments in NCC post!

Now you may not think that motorcycles and roses would go together but I wanted to prove that wrong!
So, I made a Biker Chick birthday card!

First, I made my white on white background with a Spellbinders Labels 26 for the frame and the ODBD/Spellbinders Quatrefoil Die inside the frame.  Then I stamped and colored the motorcycle and the roses.  I did the roses twice so I could pop up a few blossoms.  Fussy cutting the roses took a little while though!  Haha!  I also cut two Spellbinders Hearts, with one heart showing the birthday sentiment.

After putting the card together, I added the lace and black rhinestone and then I used a tiny paintbrush to 'paint' stickles on the roses and on the motorcycle for a little glitz!

So what do you think?  Did I pull it off?

Romantic Lace

Good morning!   Hope y'all are doing well today!
I am playing in the SCS inspiration challenge this morning!  I was inspired by this pretty prom dress from Windsor. I am absolutely in love with the new ODBD Romantic Floral Designs stamp set!
I stamped the image onto some pretty designer paper and cut it out with the Spellbinders Labels 26 die.  I also embossed around the Flourished Verses sentiment with a smaller Labels 26.

I used several other Spellbinders dies for frames and added a Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish, Prima Flowers, a lace bow and some black rhinestones.  I made the bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.
I also smudged some gold ink here and there and everywhere!  The prima flowers were already edged in gold!

The Season of Singing Has Come!

Hey y'all!
Hope you are all having a wonderful day!  Spring is in full swing here in the south!
Flowers are everywhere and singing is in the air!

This new stamp from ODBD has this Song of Solomon scripture included!  So perfect for days like today, don't you think?  The new set is called Morning Glory and the little bee is also in the set!!!  I cut the scripture out with the ODBD/Spellbinders Antique Labels and Borders die and layered it with a Spellbinders Labels 26 die cut.  The background is the new ODBD/Spellbinders Quatrefoil Pattern Die adhered to some pretty papers with Scor-Tape!  I made the flowers with the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies and also used the Flourish die from Cheery Lynn Designs.  I used black rhinestones to complete the card.

Spring Chicken

Hi everyone!  This cute little image is from North Coast Creations called Flower Bonnet Chick!  Adorable!  I colored him (not a her this time!) with copics and used Spellbinders Ovals to cut and frame him.  He is popped up on a gingham background from Our Daily Bread designs.  His bonnet was fussy cut and also stamped with the gingham background.  I made the little bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker which completes the card!
