Good morning and Happy December 1st!
Can you believe how fast this year had gone?!!!
Can you believe how fast this year had gone?!!!
Well, today is release day for two new sets from Our Daily Bread designs and we are celebrating with a Blog Hop!!! If you arrived here from Connie's blog, then you are going in the right direction! If not, start with Our Daily Bread designs' blog and start from there. Kelley is generously offering two lucky winners their choice of one free set! Each designer will have a wonderful creation to show you as well as a word for you to collect. To have a chance to win, leave a comment for each designer, collect all the words along the way, remembering which designer has what word. Then go back to ODBD blog and post a comment that you have done these things and then email Grace at the email provided on the ODBD blog! Winners will be chosen by Random from the correct emails that Grace receives by Dec 2nd, at 8 PM EST.
Here are the new sets!!

His Gift
I have made a card for each set to show you today!
The first is with the Peace and Joy set.
The first is with the Peace and Joy set.
Aren't these snowflakes just gorgeous?! I stamped the snowflakes on Blush Blossom cardstock with Memento Brown ink and sponged each one with Blush Blossom ink. They are sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and then cut out. To each snowflake I added brown pearls and some Zva pearls. The sentiment is cut out with a spellbinders ribbon tag and attached with SU! ribbon. I made the pretty bow using my little Bow Easy tool! The back ground is embossed with the new Holly Ribbons Cuttlebug folder, sponged around the edges and sprayed with Glimmer Mist too. This is all layered with Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip cardstock and added to a base of Blush Blossom.
And here is my second card made with His Gift!
This beautiful set was designed by former ODBD designer Dina Kowal!
This card evolved so many times! First I colored the image with various copics. But I wasn't satisfied, so then I painted it with Glimmer Mist (Brick and Pearl) and a small paintbrush. Still, I wasn't satisfied with the outcome, so I copic'd and sponged some more! Then I used my craft knife to cut out some of the petals to lift them up with foam tape. I used my Bow Easy again and added some wisps of gold cord. Then I added lots of gold pearls in the center of the poinsettia. I layered this onto Ruby Red, Always Artichoke and a base of Old Olive.
I hope you like my cards today! These new sets are so gorgeous! And I can't wait to see who wins this month's Blog Hop contest! Beginning in January, Our Daily Bread designs will have monthly challenges and that means more chances to win! So stay tuned for that!
