Our Daily Bread designs Second Anniversary Celebration-Day Two


Hello everyone!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Our Daily Bread designs Second Anniversary Celebration! I hope you have had a chance to play along on yesterday’s challenge! ( Just for your information, ALL the week’s challenges were posted on the Our Daily Bread designs Blog on Mar. 7 as well as a link to that post posted in our SCS Member Forum, because we wanted you ALL to have time to play and have plenty of chances to win!!!)
Today, our challenge is an inspiration challenge, inspired by a Collage of various China, since China is the “Contemporary Gift” for the second anniversary! Here is the photo we used for our inspiration:




Totally gorgeous and inspiring pieces in this photo!!! Can you tell which piece I chose for my inspiration?


Here are the supplies I used to create my card:

Neenah White cardstock
Mellow Moss Cardstock
Copic markers-E0000, YG91, G20
Memento Brown ink
Mellow Moss ink
Cuttlebug Vintage Corners
Spellbinder circle
Foam tape

 
Our challenge for you is to use any one of these pieces or to use the overall china theme to make your creation. We hope you’ll play along with us, and link your creation to the Anniversary Celebrations Day 2 post with Mr Linky on the ODBD Blog by 8:00pm EST Monday! Please link the challenge in your post, and only new work, no back links please.     This is an amazing card. It looks like it is truly 3-D. I can't imagine how you accomplish some of the things that you do naturally in art. I stand in amazement at your coloring of the plate I love how you highlighted the area around the sentiment. Mostly, I think you were very thoughtful in how you echoed the importance of this sentiment by the richness of the flourishes in the corners. Gold for our King.

  17. Your card is gorgeous! I am amazed at how well it relates to the inspiration piece. I was not sure how to go about this challenge exactly, but you have inspired me as to how this can be done. Your flowers are so pretty, and I love the corners. Fabulous job!

  22. This looks just like the colors of the china I wanted to pick out for our wedding! Unfortunately, sensibility took hold and I put things like a coffee maker and an alarm clock on the registry instead of the china!! Love your card!
