Welcome to the July Release Day Hop for Our Daily Bread designs! If you arrived here from the amazing Grace's blog, then you are in the right place. If not, just head over to the Our Daily Bread designs Blog to start from the beginning. If there are any breaks along the way, just go back to the ODBD Blog and head to the next blog on the list from there!
There are three wonderful prizes along the hop!
For your chance at winning one of these prizes, just comment on each designer's blog,
then head back to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment that you have completed the hop,
and left a comment for each designer. If you have difficulties leaving comments at any of the blogs
just let us know when you finish up at the ODBD Blog! We want this to be fun and stress free!
We appreciate you all for sharing this time with us each month!
Now, on with the show!
The new sets this month are so fantastic!
The ones I am using today are called The Living Bread and Our Daily Bread.
They can be used for so many occasions! For this card, I followed the sketch challenge at the
Midnight Madness blog this week and the challenge to used stripes at the
Stampin's Sisters in Christ Blog. The designer paper is embossed and sponged.
The gorgeous wheat cross is cut out and layered over a Spellbinders Cross Diecut
with a little twine tying the two pieces together.
After everything was put together, I sprayed the whole thing down with Pearl Glimmer Mist! You know I can't stay away from that stuff for too long! LOL!
Here are the supplies I used:
SU! Naturals Vanilla Cardstock
DCWV Designer Paper
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Ink
Memento Brown Ink
Cuttlebug Textile Embossing Folder
Twine and Burlap Ribbon
Your next stop along the hop is the incredible Julie!!!
Our hop will last until Friday night at 8pm EST, so you have plenty of time to peruse the blogs!
Winners will be announced on Saturday morning at the ODBD Blog so check back!
Hope you enjoy and see ya soon!!!
