Good morning! It's Wednesday again and at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog this week we were challenged to be Clearly Creative! I chose to use part of the packaging from some pretty little flowers I bought at Michaels. They came in a package of three colors and each little section is great for shaker cards! I used buttons inside my shaker! I am so ready for Fall and cooler temperatures! The heat lately has been unbearable! The background and the center of the sunflower are embossed with the ProvoCraft Swiss Dots Embossing Folder #37-1604 and sponged. To make the shaker, I cut three Spellbinders flowers and cut a hole in the center of one of them. Then I used Beacon 3-1 glue to attach the clear packaging piece. I did have to make some snips in the circle to get it to fit around the circle. I added lace around the edge to help hide the edges that were unfinished looking. The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread designs' new set called appropriately Happy Fall! I also sprayed Peach Delight Glimmer mist on the flower and the brown background.
Here are the supplies I used:
Spellbinders Flower and Circle dies
Martha Stewart Fence Border punch
SU! ribbon
Bow Easy
SU! Close to Cocoa, So Saffron and White cardstock
SU! designer paper
Buttons and Floss
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink
Thanks for joining me today! To see what the other Cuttlebug Challenge designers came up with
