Now on to my project!…..
I used the new Christmas Blessings set! This stamp is one of five wonderful Christmas sentiments that will be a great addition to your Christmas stamp collections! I stamped it in Memento Brown ink onto Neenah Cream card stock and cut it out with a Spellbinders Oval die. This is mounted onto a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval cut from SU! Rose Red card stock. The background is a sheet of Memory Box Mistletoe paper embossed with a folder from the Cuttlebug Preserves collection. I cut the roses from another sheet of the same paper and popped them up with foam tape. I then covered each bunch of roses with Diamond Glaze. The background, rose bunches and sentiment oval is sponged with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink. Then I just added a pretty Bow Easy Bow, red button with silver cord and silver bling to complete the card!!! That's it!!!
We are so happy that you have joined us today! You are going to love the creations you are about to see along the hop!!! From here, your next stop is the very talented Connie!!! Enjoy!!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! My favorite Christmas memory is being at my Granny's house, it was always full of love, laughter, family and wonderful smells coming from the kitchen!! Sometimes I wish I could turn back the clock just to be there one more time. They're all in heaven now, and I will see them again. I'll be with them alot longer than I'll be without them!
ReplyDeleteLooks like very tedious work - but beautiful.

ReplyDeleteSuper card Sandee. Love the use of the sentiment on the outside. I really have to start doing that. These colors are so festive. Can't wait to work with my set, soon as I get my decorating done. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful project. My greatest Christmas Memory is the first Christmas without my Mother. I was only 6 years old. With Mom dying in November and Christmas being the next month, sure we were sad, but my Dad, being the father that he was, did all he could do to make sure his 4 girls were happy. We didn't have a lot of money, but that's not what Christmas is all about. All we wanted for Christmas was the doll house fully furnished, that we saw in the Sears Catalog and Only the doll house and we had to share it, but my sisters and I to this day (now 50 years ago) remember how special that Christmas was.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cards. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! My favorite Christmas memory is opening up gifts late Christmas eve and then jumping into the car Christmas morning for the long drive to my Grandma's house....loved her to pieces and those are precious memories.

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card! My favourite Christmas memory ...difficult question as many to choose from. One favourite, my Dad set up the card table in front of our beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and we had homemade meat pie followed by Christmas pudding or cookies (cookies were my choice as I don't like pudding). After, we would head off to church for the service where many Christmas hymns were sung -- my favourite, Silent Night.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is the year my oldest son was born. Only 12 days old, we went to my parents for the holidays. Christmas Eve we got 18" of snow. The power went out and we couldn't get out of the driveway. So we stoked up the fireplace, spent the night on the livingroom floor, celebrated Christmas the next day and had chicken noodle soup and toasted cheese sandwiches for Christmas dinner. It was wonderful!
Sandee, when I first saw this I was enthralled with those flowers. From the picture they seemed like real flowers. This is a stunning card.
