Flower Soft and ODBD Blog Hop Today!!!


Good morning!!!  

We are so excited that you have joined us today for a special blog hop with the Flower Soft  and  Our Daily Bread designs Design Teams!  As you make your way through the hop make sure you comment on each and every post. I just love this Flower Soft Lavender Papercraft Kit!  It is designed to coordinate with several Spellbinders Dies and really makes a beautiful card!   For my card, I used one of the scriptures from the newly released Scripture Series 2 set from Our Daily Bread designs.  I added touches of Flower Soft Lilac to the image surrounding the scripture.  The background layer is embossed with the ODBD Vintage Border Embossing Plate and then distressed along the edges with a distressing tool.  I pleated the ribbon by folding and gluing it down over the lace strip.  I made the bows with my Bow Easy tool and glued them down.  I died the smaller ribbon with a copic marker to match the colors in the Lavender Papercraft Kit.  Then I just added the cut out butterflies, the button and the pearls to complete the card!!!  Oh yeah, I also sprayed it a couple of times with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist!  That's it!!
