Hi there! Hope you all have been enjoying your summer! It is HOT!!!
Well, I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made with the new ODBD set called Sharing Your Sorrow. The one above I used a new Cuttlebug Embossing folder and a Prima Butterfly misted with Glimmer Mist along with a Prima Rose. Tried to keep this one clean and simple.
This next one is still clean and simple but does have a busier patterned paper.
I sponged Antique Linen ink on the sentiment oval, added antique lace
and pretty seam binding, and finished the card with a little butterfly
and pearl. The designer paper is also embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I am linking this to the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge to make a CAS card!
The Passionately Artistic Blog invites you to share your latest project by joining our linking party! Have a wonderful day!
These are both beautiful Sandee!!! Love your CAS approach! The butterfly and flower are beautiful on the top one and I really love the new CB EF! Need to look at the new ones I guess! :)

Hi Sandee! Wow, both cards are beautiful! Soft and elegant...and I love that lacey look! And the butterflies perfectly placed! Not sure I'd want to bring anyone home from heaven but that sentiment would be great in a memory book I think.

Sandee - I love both cards! The verse is so sweet and the papers create such moving cards. I love to see an element used in very different ways to make different cards. Thanks for sharing this week at SSiC.

Sandee, these are so beautiful! Your fist one is so pretty and fresh, love the butterfly technique you used. And the dainty papers and lace are the perfect backdrop for your sentiment!
