A Look Back at the NCC September Releases!

Today we are looking back at the September releases from North Coast Creations!

My card features the Old Fashioned Santa set!  I colored him with copics and cut him out.  I added him to a Spellbinders frame over some festive green polka dot paper.  I also painted him with a little stickles for sparkle!  The sentiment tag is ODBD Custom Recipe Card and Tags dies and the foliage is ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage dies.

EDITED TO ADD:

I am updating to address the two questions regarding the frame on this card.  I used a Spellbinders Matting Basics die to embossed the edge of the base card.  And then I used two smaller Matting Basics dies to cut the frame.  I have both Spellbinders A-2 Matting Basics A and B so not really sure which I used here.  I hope that helps.  Thanks for your comments!  You are so sweet!  I am sorry I left out this info!

Have a wonderful day!

  1. Hi Sandee,
Your cards are gorgeous !! I love your samples, especially that candy cane stamped on kraft paper !! I love the vintage look of it. On your recent Santa card, would you please tell me how you made the spellbinders frame? It is so cool - just like a real frame. I assume it's made from the card making rectangles, but directions would really be helpful.
Thanks much. Again, terrific job !!

  2. Sandee, thank you for sharing your gorgeous work !! I LOVE the vintage candy cane you stamped on kraft paper and also the old-time Santa card.. Can you give us instructions on how you made the really neat spellbinders frame. It appears to be made from the Card Creator rectangle dies, but I have no idea how to make it. It looks JUST like a real frame. Very cool !!

    Thanks again : )
