Here is my first card:
I love how the new Angel Wings die coordinates so beautifully with our other dies! I cut the angel wings and three different crosses from the Ornamental Crosses die set to create this focal point. I embossed a frame with a Spellbinders die. I used my stamp positioner to help stamp the sentiment form the new Carried to Heaven set. Here is another view:

Here is my second card for today:
This time I decided to get a little messy with a mixed media card! The background is part of cardboard packaging which has paint, gesso, Glimmer Mist, and Mod Podge! The Beautiful Border, Ornate Heart, and the sentiment from Glory are glued down with the Mod Podge. I cut the angel wings form the same cardboard packaging and painted them before gluing them down to the heart. I added a gorgeous embellishment and traced the wings with stickles. Sandee, I am nearly speechless! Your all white card is so powerful and beautiful!! The 2nd absolutely knocked me out.....the techniques and blended colors....wow! I am in awe of such beauty!!! HUGS!!!

You have made me want to try more work with mixed media.. somehow YOUR style with it is so beautiful where most of the time I don't care for it! I love all the texture and color variations you got, and the beautiful wings have so much depth! You also are the queen of white on white cards! I love the embossed bg and the gorgeous layering you did with the dies!!! Soooo beautiful!!!

ReplyDeleteSandee - look what you've done!!! You're such an inspiration - your first card has left me without words. There are no words for something this beautiful. I simply cannot get enought of it - thank you for showing it off in so many different photos!! But of course your second card is also quite stunning, in a different way - which I also LOVE!! The artsy mixed media design is unique - I especially love the texture and beautiful blues. Hugs to you!!
