Good morning! We are so happy you have joined us today as we share projects made with the April new releases from Our Daily Bread designs! As always, there are prizes to be won, and here is the how:
Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards! You
have until April 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the
Designers Blogs for a chance to win! The Winners will be posted on the
ODBD Blog on April 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you
won!
My first card features a stamp from the set called How Sweet the Sound. I cut it out with a Vintage Flourish Pattern die. I thought the new Umbrellas die would go well with this particular stamp! The bow is from the Circle Ornament dies. The designer paper is from the Shabby Rose Paper Collection and is layered on a panel cut and embossed with a Flourished Star Pattern die. I added a Beautiful Border strip near the bottom and finished the card with raindrops and pearls!
Here is my second card:
This card was a fun one! I have seen several similar cards on different sites and I have always wanted to make one! The sentiment is from April Showers. I used the cute new Clouds and Raindrops dies. The sun is made with a Recipe Card and Tags die and the Pennant Swag die. The bows from the Pennant Swag are on the Fence die. I added the Grass die cut and the flowers are from the Peaceful Poinsettia dies.
Here are all the ODBD products I used:
