Hi there! Happy Spring! Hoping it is nice and warm where you are!
I have another card that I made using the quote I chose to go in one of the new ODBD anniversary sets! The quote is by Emerson and is included in the Quote Collection 2 set. I stamped it on Prima designer paper and cut it out with a Spellbinders Labels 4. The same designer paper is behind the Cheery Lynn Designs Lattice. I sponged the edges of the label and the lattice layer with SU! Blush Blossom ink. Then I added Cheery Lynn Designs Flourish and Butterfly. Next I added some Prima Flowers over a Bow Easy bow and some pretty pearls. I sprayed the card with glimmer mist too!
I am entering this to the following challenges:

Love it, Sandee!! Came in the mail today and is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning card sandee,
ReplyDeleteLove the way all those die cuts just gel together so pretty.
What a cool verse too.
Was the bottom of the card a punch to (the scalloped edge) or was it the card itself?
Take care
Karen
Hey Karen! Thanks for your sweet comments! So sorry I didn't include info on that bottom strip. I usually cut my white card stock down to 4 3/4 x 9 1/2 which leaves a little strip the same length as the card. Sometimes I will use a border punch and attach that piece to the card in some way. I believe the punch is a SU! border punch? Anyway, hope that answers your question!
DeleteSandee, this is just gorgeous!! I love the colors, the way you used your dies, the layout, and thanks for the tip on the border along the bottom panel!! And the quote is one to live by for sure! Thanks for joining us this week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ!
