Happy Birthday to Rick!

Good morning friends!

Today, several of the designers at Our Daily Bread designs, are celebrating a very special birthday!  The dear husband of Kelley, the ODBD owner, is the man of the hour!  A while back, Rick 'retired' from his job and has since become a huge part of the ODBD business.  He is a great guy and a lot of fun!  And so, we are honoring him with a birthday blog hop!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICK!!!

The hop will run from Jan 7, 8am until Jan 11, 8pm.
Somewhere along the way there will be a HOT SPOT,
and one lucky commenter will win a $20 ODBD gift card toward stamps!
Be sure to leave a comment on each blog for your chance to win!!!

If you arrived here from Chris' blog then you are in the right place.  If a link is broken, just head back to the ODBD Blog to see the list of all the designers participating today.

I made my card with the Time set.  Such a great set for masculine cards!  And speaking of masculine cards, one of my goals this year is to really work on being more comfortable with creating them!  You have no idea how hard these are for me! (Or maybe you do since I talk about it all the time?!)

I colored the image with copics and cut it out with a Spellbinders Circle.  I used Spellbinders Timeless Heritage dies, which to the best of my knowledge has been retired, for the embellishments.  The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for the sentiment placement and added three silver rhinestones and some hemp twine.  I also sponged the edges of each piece.

Your next stop is to Jan Marie!

Thanks for joining us for our little birthday hop for Rick!
Enjoy!!
My Siggy

  31. Rick is the Man of the Hour and gives us a good reason to celebrate his big day - his helpfulness and outgoing personality, AND all the help and muscle supplied at each and every show, and all he does behind the scenes to help ODBD be the excellent company it has become - all that and he still has TIME to devote to Kelley - what a MAN!

Your card is awesome with the timepieces and watch - great masculine card!
