Welcome to the ODBD April Release Blog Hop!

Good morning and welcome to the

This month's release is all about quilts!  And we are so happy you have joined us as we share our creations using these new stamps and dies!  As always, there is a chance to win!  Here are the details:

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 Gift Code to the ODBD Store just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until April 2, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on April 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!
Here is my first card:

This card features the Star Quilt Die and the A Time to Mend stamp set.  I love the look of a solid cream or white quilt about as much as I love the ones with the homespun fabrics.  After cutting the quilt, I used tape on the back to keep all the pieces in place before removing from the die.  I also adhered the 'quilt' to another piece of card stock for added stability.  I popped it up over a layer cut with the Flourished Star Pattern die adorned with a Beautiful Border.  I cut the sentiment with a die from the Filigree Frames die set.  I finished the card by adding a couple of Bitty Blossoms, a pearl center and pretty pink seam binding.
Here is my next card:
This card features the Dresden Quilt Die, the All Mothers set, and the Cozy Quilt Paper Collection.  Y'all, this paper just evokes all sorts of comfy, cozy, grandma memories for me!  I hope it does for you too!  I can remember spending nights with my grandma, and having so many quilts on the bed that you couldn't even turn over!  But we sure stayed warm and cozy!  :)
The sentiment is cut out with the Log Cabin Quilt Die.  It fits perfectly!  This quilt is mounted to a Layered Lacey Square and popped up over another sheet of the Cozy Quilt Paper with a Leafy Edged Border.  A button and some matching twine finish the card.
