Welcome to the ODBD May Release!

Good morning!

We are so happy you have joined us today!
The May Release stamps and dies are so fun and perfect for those
teacher/bus driver themed cards and gifts!
As always, you have a chance to win!
Here is how:

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 Gift Code to the ODBD Website  just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until May 2, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on May 3rd so be sure to check back there to see if you won!
My first project is for a favorite teacher.  I created a card and a matching water bottle tag!

The top of the tag has a circle cut out with ODBD Pierced Circles to fit over the bottle cap. The apples and all of the sentiments are from the new Seeds of Knowledge set.  I colored the apples with copics and cut them out with the coordinating Teacher's Apples dies.  I added a Bitty Border to the tag.  The main panel on the card is cut with the Circle Scalloped Rectangle die.  Then I added a few fun die cuts done with the new Clipboard Set dies.  I dyed the seam binding with a copic marker to match the apples.

Here is my second project, this time with a bus driver in mind:

For the card, I used the new School Bus Driver set.  I fussy cut the bus out, colored with copics and popped up on the main panel.  The main panel is cut and embossed with Snowflake Sky and Pierced Rectangles.

I saw someone do this idea on Pinterest!  I created a little gift tag for a pack of Extra gum.  The tag is made with the Notebook Paper Stamp/Die Duo and added to a Clipboard!  I thought that was a fun play on words and this is my favorite gum!  haha!

  1. What pretty cards! I especially like the school bus. This is a card that pays attention to people who are usually overlooked. What a wonderful idea! Love your cards.

  2. So pretty! I love that you colored the apples green instead of the standard red (not that there's anything wrong with that). Love the pun on the gift! hehe. I always try to put a little humor in my makings. Maybe I just haven't made enough tags but I don't see a bottle cap or a circle to cover it. What is the bottle cap for? The tag is lovely, btw. TFS!

  18. I love that you use greens with the apple. So much more fresh than using red. Thank you for reminding us that apples come in a variety of colors, not just fire engine red.

I also like the green border on the bus card. It makes the green pop on the bus sign, headlights, etc.

Thank you for sharing your ideas and creativity with us and giving us inspiration to create.
