Looking Back at the ODBD Anniversary Release!

Don't you just love the ODBD Anniversary Release?!
I sure do!

The large numbers help make birthday and anniversary come together so easily.
And they are just the motivation I needed to get some kiddo birthday cards done early!  This one will be for my youngest grand girl for her birthday coming up soon!

I decided to make a shaker card.  I rarely do these and I'm thinking I really need to study up on the secrets to making shaker cards.  This one isn't shaking the stuff around enough for my liking.  I think the goodies are sticking to the foam tape!  haha!  Oh well, my granddaughter won't care!

Here are all the ODBD supplies I used for this card:

I know I used a lot of dies,
but it would be very easy to just add a few things and more of
the sequins and/or beads, etc.  I just couldn't help myself!

Here is a second card from me today:

This one will be for my grandson, who has a birthday next month as well.  I used pops of black to set off some of the die cuts.  I am enjoying these Large Number dies!  Perfect motivation to get those cards made!  This is what I used to create this card:

Just a Little Peek...

Happy Thursday!

I have a card to share with you that I made the other day.  It just so happens that this card is a little sneak peek of several dies coming out on April 1st from
Woohoo!!!

This scripture from the Celebration set is one of my all time favorite scriptures!  I love singing it as I wake up in the mornings!  I cut the scripture out with a Pierced Oval.  It is layered over a panel that is made with a Pierced Rectangle (you can't see it, it's just for stability of the panel) and the new Lattice Background Die.  I then made a rose with the new Roses and Rose Leaves dies.  {{{sigh!}}}  After cutting the pieces, I used Pan Pastels to add touches of color before shaping each petal and leaf with a stylus.  I also used Foliage and Leaves and Lovely Leaves.  After arranging and adhering all of the pieces, I added a pearl to the largest rose and pink stickles to the centers of the tiny flowers.   Remember to join us on April 1st for our New Release Blog Hop!

I am adding this to the
Come join us for the challenge!  You have until April 2nd at 8pm to enter your card for a chance to be spotlighted for the Shining the Light Challenge or to be the random winner for a $15 gift certificate toward stamps at ODBD.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

SC638, WT628, Friendship

This is for this week's SC638 as well as the WT628 to use a puppy/dog image in honor of National Puppy Day!  This sweet little puppy is part of the Sugar Pea Designs set called Love You Bunches. I colored him with copics and then cut him out and embossed a frame around him with Spellbinders Squares.  The designer papers are from an old DCWV pack of paper called Nana's Nursery.

Thank you so much for coming by!

Today's Color Challenge at SCS is to use Olive, Raspberry and Pumpkin.  Wasn't too sure about the combo but I am liking it with these gorgeous ODBD Tulips!  I colored with copics and then cut out the image with the ODBD Tulip die.  The sentiment is cut out with a Pierced Circle and matted with a Circle.  The bottom layers are Circle Scalloped Rectangle over a Pierced Rectangle.  A pretty bow completes the card!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

My No Line Coloring Attempt...

Hello!  Well, this is my attempt at the No Line Coloring challenge at SCS this morning!  Let's just say I need more practice!  The image and sentiment are from the ODBD set called Rose.  The main panel is cut and embossed with ODBD Snowflake Sky and ODBD Pierced Ovals. I added the ODBD Bitty Butterfly for the CAS challenge to have a winged thing on my card.  I used a copic multiliner to draw the butterfly trail.

Hope y'all have a wonderful week!

SC637, Just Because

Hello!  Hope you are having a great week!

This is for this week's Sketch Challenge at SCS!  The beautiful Tulips image is from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I colored with copics and cut out with the coordinating Tulip Die.  On one image, I cut off one of the tulips. Here are the other ODBD products I used for this card:  Beautiful Borders, Pennant Flags, Circles, Circle Ornaments, and Pastel Paper Pack.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  God bless you!

Easter Bunny Hop

Good morning!

I made this for today's CAS Challenge #421 to use a bunny!
I used this cute stamp from NCC called Easter Egg Delivery. I colored with copics and cut out the panel with ODBD Pierced Rectangles.  I also used the Pierced Rectangles to cut out the bottom layer and the egg border layer, which is from the ODBD Easter Card Collection 2016 Paper Pack.  The sentiment is from the NCC set called Hey, Chickie.  It is so hard for me not to keep adding stuff!  lol  So in an attempt to keep this CAS, I only added clear Wink of Stella to the eggs in the wheelbarrow.

Thanks so much for looking!
Have a wonderful week!
