3x3 Easter Cards

Hello!  Have I mentioned how adorable this little lamb is?  I made these little 3x3 Easter cards for my grandchildren!  Four girls, one boy.  I colored the images with copics and cut each one out with an oval Spellbinders.  I cut out Spellbinders Lacey Ovals for the frames.  The background is embossed with the Spellbinders Lattice die.  I used my corner chomper thingie on each corner.  On the inside, is a strip of the same card stock at the bottom and I stamped the sentiment.  This set is from Our Daily Bread designs and is called The Shepherd.  These are for a LOVEFEST2013 challenge to make 3x3 cards!

Hope you all have a great weekend!  Thanks for visiting!

LOVEFEST2013 Continued!

Hello!
I have been working on more cards for the LOVEFEST2013 challenges on SCS!
Here is the first of three!
I used the sweet new ODBD set called The Shepherd

The little lamb is colored with copics.  I used three sets of Spellbinders Dies.  I colored and cut out the shepherd hook and attached it, adding a sweet ribbon.

Here is the second one:

For this one I used the ODBD sets called Antique Labels Designs, All Occasion Sentiments and the ODBD/Spellbinders Antique Labels and Borders Designs.  I made the bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker, distressed some edges and added lots of pearls to fit the challenge.

And one more for the day!  A Gate Fold Card!

I used the sweet Shepherd set again!  I just love it!   Again the lamb is colored with copics and cut out with a Spellbinders die and layered over the Spellbinders lattice.  When you open one side there is another Spellbinders die cut with the sentiment and the shepherd hook.

If I would have been thinking ahead, I would have added the lace under the top layer, but by the time I knew what I wanted to do, that top layer was stuck good!  So it is what it is!    The inside has a frame made with Spellbinders dies too.  I also added designer paper to the back to keep the lace from showing or slipping.

Here all the ODBD supplies I used for these cards:

And that is it!
Thanks for hanging out with me for a while today!  See you again soon!

For my first card I used the beautiful vintage stamp called Floral Oval Frame.  I colored the image with copics and cut it out using the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares.  I also embossed the base card with one of the dies around the die cut.  The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread designs' set called Flourished Verses.  I added some little white dots in some of the flower centers with a white paint pen.  And then added the pretty Martha butterfly and pearl to finish the card!

Here is another card I made for today's hop using one of the cute Crazy Critters, Birthday Murphy!

Birthday Murphy is colored with copics.  One of the balloons is popped up.  In real life, his party hat matches the ribbon nicely!  I also colored the dots on the ribbon with a copic marker to match!

Here are some more cards I have made using some of the great NCC sets:

LOVEFEST2013!

Hello again!  Yes, I have been saving up!  I am a slacker lately!

I have been playing in the LOVEFEST2013 challenges and here are my first two cards!  The first challenge was to create a card using the first letters of the word LOVE.  L-Labels 26, O-Ovals, V-Vintage Birdcage, E-Embossing and embellishments.  I used Spellbinders dies and a Cheery Lynn die.  I added Martha flowers and pearls I colored with a copic marker.  In real life the pearls do match the SU! paper behind the frame.  The tag was stamped with the word Love from the ODBD Words of Faith set.

This card is for the second LOVEFEST challenge which is a sketch.  I used papers from a pack of My Mind's Eye designer papers.  The sweet little girl image and sentiment are from the ODBD set called Little Girls.  I used Colorbox ink in a pretty matching blue to stamp the image and sentiment and around the edges of the papers.  I also used Antique Linen ink around the edges.  I used a copic marker on the wooden Prima button to help it blend in better.  I used Spellbinders dies for the image and sentiment and added a button to finish the card!

Here are the ODBD sets I used:

Thanks again for taking a minute to stop by!  See you again soon!

CCC13-February

 Happy Monday!

I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend!  I have some cards I made for the Christmas Card Challenge on SCS and for February's Fan Club Christmas Card challenge to case someone!  I chose to case two cards by one of my favorite designers, Angela Maine, Arizona Maine on SCS!  I loved her bluejay card seen here!  I made six cards using the cardinal from the ODBD set called Sing For Joy.  He makes a pretty good blujay, huh?  He is colored with copics and accented with stickles.  I masked off part of the sentiment and cut it out with a Spellbinders Oval.  I layered him over the SU! embossing folder and I made six cards!

I decided to case another one of Angela's cards seen here.  I made six more cards using the Luke 2:11 set.  I colored the poinsettia image with copics and used stickles again to accent.

I embossed the panel with another SU! folder and cut it out to add to the card base.  I also added pearls to the center of the poinsettia!  Done!!!

Here are the two sets I used:

Thanks for taking a look!  Hope you have a great Monday!

Now I See

Good morning!

The Free For All challenge today on Splitcoast is to use colors that make you happy!  I LOVE all colors, but I am drawn to browns and muted color tones.  They just give me a serene feeling!  Those colors scream vintage to me and that makes me happy!

I used ColorBox ink in brown to stamp this new chalkboard image from ODBD called

I painted the edges with acrylic paint and then distressed the edges.  The pink designer paper is embossed and also painted along the edges.  I added some lace, a bow made with Becca's Peg bow Maker, a Prima flower, a corner embellishment, and a couple of Memory Box banner die cuts.  I can't remember who makes the corner embellishment though!  I've thrown away the packaging.

Here is a look at the ODBD supplies I used:

 So glad you stopped by!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you again soon!

Little Lamb

Hey there!  Happy to see you today!

I have a little card to share that I made for

This new stamp set from ODBD called The Shepherd is just so sweet!  I left off a sentiment so it could be used for different occasions like Easter, New Baby, Baby's Birthday or whatever!  I also kept it rather simple.  The lamb image is colored with copics and cut out with a Spellbinders Labels 26.

I also used Spellbinders Labels 26 and a Spellbinders Square to make a frame for the little lamb!  I used a Spellbinders Marvelous Square to emboss the card base around the frame.  I made a lace bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker and attached it with Beacon 3-in-1 glue.  Then I added some Ultra Fine White Flower Soft to the lamb!  I love how that enhanced the little guy!

So that is it!  Here are the ODBD supplies I used:
