Get Well Dot

And hello again!  Two posts in one day!  Lol!

I needed a Get Well card for a friend so I made this, this morning.  I REALLY love this floral set called Hello Friend from Our Daily Bread Designs!  Such fun to color!  The set has coordinating dies, however, I chose not to use them for this card.  I masked the images and stamped a few more of the leaves.  I added some black dots here and there.  And I did the pointillism technique over most of the white space.  The bottom two panels are cut with Pierced Rectangles and Lavish Layers.  I cut the sentiment out with an Ornate Oval and layered it with an Oval.  The pretty blue polka dot paper is from the Pastel Paper Pack.

Celebrations began today in honor of
Our Daily Bread Designs 10th anniversary!

Grace's Frame and Lavender Roses

Hi there!  I was playing again late last night and made this card with the Anchor set by Our Daily Bread designs.  I just love this sentiment as it is perfect for encouragement cards!  I used a base of Neenah Cream card stock and then topped it with White.  The background is embossed with the cuttlebug Grace's Frame embossing folder.  I then added the lace from my stash.  The sentiment is stamped and then cut out with a Spellbinders circle and layered with a Spellbinders Lotus pendant.  This is popped up over the lace and I added a pretty Bow Easy bow and three pretty little lavender roses.  Pearls complete the card!  I really like how this Grace's frame looks with the Spellbinders pendant!  This will make a great encouragement card but this design would be pretty for a wedding card I think!  Thanks for popping in today for a visit!  See you again soon!

Be Inspired #92

Good Morning!  Hope you all are doing good!
Today, our challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog, is to create something inspired by garden creatures or creepy crawley's!  See the little bee?  That's as creepy crawley as I wanted to get!  LOL!  I am using the LeLovely Collection of Designer Papers and Chipboard stickers from Cosmo Cricket!  So cute!!!  The background layer is embossed with the Provocraft Cuttlebug Floral Fantasy Embossing Folder #37-1806.  The little bee is cut with the Provocraft Cuttlebug 2x2 Garden Creatures Die #37-1212.  I thought this wonderful scripture from the Our Daily Bread designs stamp set called Get Well, was perfect for this card.  Thanks for visiting with me today!

Be Well

Hi!!! What a week! I am pooped! But as usual, I needed the card therapy so here is the outcome! I made this for Tuesday's Midnight Madness sketch and for Thursday's Way to Use It challenge to use red. I used two of the versatile new sets from Our Daily Bread designs, Get Well Soon and Thinking of You. I actually put both stamps onto the acrylic block and stamped them as one stamp! I cut this out with a Spellbinders rectangle and sponged Real Red ink while still in the die. Added the Spellbinders Lattice pendant die cut things at the top and bottom of the image to stay with the sketch. I stamped the butterfly again in red and cut it out. I added Glossy Accents and fine glitter. Red gemstones on the flourishes and a pretty butterfly charm I found at Walmart and I am done! Hope ya'll have a wonderful Sunday! Thanks for coming by today!

Watercolor Paper Get Well Soon

One of my favorite challenges at Splitcoast is the Featured Stamper challenge on Sundays. Today's FS is Rox71 and I love her gallery! She is very talented! I chose to case her card here:
I kept the black base and the watercolor paper, of course, but changed the rest of the colors. I also changed stamp sets, and the outside nestie embossed square. I only have two masked butterflies instead of three and the butterfly trail flows a little differently! Thanks Roxie for a beautiful inspiration!
