LOVE

Hey y'all!  Here is a card I made tonight for three challenges!

TLC410-Chalkboard Technique(I used pink card stock instead of black!)

I used a great set from Our Daily Bread designs called Bookmarks-Faith, Hope & Love!

I love playing with my Spellbinders dies!  My dear hubby gave me a gift card to Archiver's for Christmas and so I bought Resplendent Rectangles and some other things!  I just love how this came out!  I also used a Spellbinders oval and Bitty Blossoms.  I added pearls and a pretty seam binding bow made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker!

So glad you could visit with me tonight!  See you again soon!

Little Boys are a Blessing From God

Hi everyone!  I just had to play along in the latest Shining the Light Challenge at Our Daily Bread designs even though I am too late to get it in!!!  The challenge was to use your dies or punches to make a special border on one or more sides.  I love using the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares to emboss a border!  And this new sweet stamp set from ODBD called Little Boys makes a perfect new baby boy card!  I stamped the little boy and cut it out with the ODBD/Spellbinders Elegant Ovals and attached it to the card with foam tape.  Then I just added the pretty bow and sentiment blow the image!  Quick and easy and adorable!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you again soon!

I am so excited to join the For the Love Hop today!  Hope you have enjoyed it so far!

I made a little tag using a quote from the Bicycle set.

This tag would be great for a friend or loved one's birthday!  The tag is made with a piece of chipboard from some packaging.  I covered it with some pretty Prima papers and then distress and sponged the edges for that aged look.  I added lace and pearls, a pretty canvas butterfly, some seam binding and ribbon and a cute little wooden bicycle embellishment!  Oh and a bouquet of flowers too!!!

Now head on over to see what the fabulous Angie has created to share with you today!!!
Thanks so much for hopping with us today!  See you again soon!

Sweet Girl

Good morning everyone!!!  Happy Saturday!

This card is for the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoast today!
The inspiration is a website called Layla Grayce.  What beautiful things they offer!  I chose the colors of this soft pink blanket for my inspiration.

I used a sentiment from the new ODBD set called Princess.  I also used the beautiful ODBD label from the Fancy Labels set for my backdrop. This label coordinates with the Spellbinders Labels 17.

I also used Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms, Decorative Dress Forms and an Oval.  The paper is My Mind's Eye.  I added pearls and a beautiful Hug Snug seam binding bow made with Becca's Peg bow Maker!

Here is another look!

I want to remind you of the ODBD sale going on now!

Well, thanks so much for visiting!  Enjoy your weekend!

Crowns and Castles!

Hi there!  Hope you had a good week!
Here are a couple of cards I made with the new Princess set and Special Girl set from ODBD!

These sets are perfect to have on hand for the little girls in your life!  On this first card, I colored the crown with copics and then used stickles to give it that sparkle.  I used a sentiment from the same Princess set as well as a sentiment from the Special Girl set.  This is for the ODBDSLC137 challenge to use something old and something new.  The sets are new of course, and the papers and embellishments are old!  This is also for Word Art Wednesday62-Anything Goes.

And here is my second card:

Isn't this just so fun and girly?!!!  This castle image is fantastic!  Again, the image is colored with copics and accented with stickles!  I added a pearl border and a pretty bow made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.

I know my grand girls will love these cards for their birthdays this year!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!  See you again soon!

Happy Birthday to Rick!

Good morning friends!

Today, several of the designers at Our Daily Bread designs, are celebrating a very special birthday!  The dear husband of Kelley, the ODBD owner, is the man of the hour!  A while back, Rick 'retired' from his job and has since become a huge part of the ODBD business.  He is a great guy and a lot of fun!  And so, we are honoring him with a birthday blog hop!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICK!!!

The hop will run from Jan 7, 8am until Jan 11, 8pm.
Somewhere along the way there will be a HOT SPOT,
and one lucky commenter will win a $20 ODBD gift card toward stamps!
Be sure to leave a comment on each blog for your chance to win!!!

If you arrived here from Chris' blog then you are in the right place.  If a link is broken, just head back to the ODBD Blog to see the list of all the designers participating today.

I made my card with the Time set.  Such a great set for masculine cards!  And speaking of masculine cards, one of my goals this year is to really work on being more comfortable with creating them!  You have no idea how hard these are for me! (Or maybe you do since I talk about it all the time?!)

I colored the image with copics and cut it out with a Spellbinders Circle.  I used Spellbinders Timeless Heritage dies, which to the best of my knowledge has been retired, for the embellishments.  The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for the sentiment placement and added three silver rhinestones and some hemp twine.  I also sponged the edges of each piece.

Your next stop is to Jan Marie!

Thanks for joining us for our little birthday hop for Rick!
Enjoy!!

Inspired by Belleek Pottery

Hi everyone!  Hope you have had a good day!

I was able to play along in the TLC on Splitcoast tonight!  This week's challenge is "The Best of 2012".  I loved the Belleek Pottery Inspiration challenge from last year so decided to try it again!

I added Vanilla ink to my cuttlebug folder and ran a piece of white card stock through.  I also 'painted' Marshmallow Glimmer Mist on it!  It is very subtle but elegant.  I framed it with Spellbinders Marvelous Squares.  I also cut out an oval with Spellbinders Floral Ovals and added a pretty cameo.  I made a bow with Becca'sPeg Bow Maker and added a tiny tag.  The word 'Grace' is a stamp from the new ODBD set called Words of Faith.  Love this set so much!

Here are two more that I did last year using this technique!
Just click on each photo if you would like to read the post for the cards!

Thanks so much for coming by tonight!  See you again soon!
