Cuttlebug Inchies

It's Be Inspired Wednesday at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog and today we are sharing our projects made with inchies!  Inchies are quite fun!  I cut out the little scalloped inchies with
from packaging and Core'dinations cardstock.
I embossed the cardstock inchies with one of the border embossing folders from the
Just My Type Embossing Folder set #37-1170 and sanded it to show the embossed impression.
I then went through a magazine and cut out some tiny words to add to each inchie.
Everything is adhered together with Beacon Zip Dry glue.

For the frame around the inchies, I cut out the center of the cardstock with a Spellbinders Square and then embossed it with the Swiss Dots Embossing folder #37-1604 and sanded this too.  I put everything together onto a black background, popping it all up a little with foam tape.  Then just added the bow, rhinestone swirls, flower and large rhinestone to complete the card.

To see more inchie inspiration,
go check out the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog!
Thanks for coming to visit with me today!

Hi everyone!  Here is a card I made this morning for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge

It's very similar to another card I made recently,

I did make some changes from the last one though!

Wedding Favors

Hi everyone!  We have been having a great week at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog, planning the wedding of a lifetime!  I chose to help with the wedding favors and I have three to show you!  Teresa Collins' gorgeous papers made creating these favors easy!  Her Mr. & Mrs. line of designer papers is just gorgeous!
And the Core'dinations paper is to die for!  Combined with ProvoCraft products, you can't go wrong!

For this simple project, I cut the paper in a 6x6 square and rolled them into the cone shape.
I glued the cone together with Beacon Zip Dry glue
(Note: Zip Dry and 3-in-1 Glue was used for all three projects)
After it dried, I added the black satin ribbon and the gorgeous double
Butterfly #37-1651 adorned with pearls.
Just filled each one with candy and stood the cones up in a bowl full of candy!
How easy is that?

These cute little favor boxes were cut out with my Cricut
I just added the ribbon and more pretty butterflies!!!!
Another super easy project with the Cricut and Cuttlebug!

And who wouldn't want these candy bars wrapped in pretty papers?!  The trim along the edge is done with a StampinUp! Border punch.  A little hint on the butterflies, I cut the lower layer butterfly straight down the middle, cut off the antennae and glued the two pieces to the back of the upper butterfly
to get the slight edge on the wings.

To see more gorgeous wedding inspiration,

My Name is Sandee and I Can't Stop Sponging...

Seriously, I love sponging on my cards!  LOL!  This card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch this week and also for the Shabby Tea Room to create a Father's Day card.  I layered the two pieces of designer paper, stamped some fishing lures, ran it through my cuttlebug and then sponged it like a crazy woman!  This image is from Our Daily Bread designs and is part of a set called Fishers of Men.  I colored it with all brown copic markers with slight touches of sage green.  I cut it out and then added it over another stamped piece that had been sponged in the background.  The sentiment is from another ODBD set called Happy Father's Day.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday!

Be Inspired Wednesday #87

Good Wednesday Morning!

The Design Team for the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog has been having fun with paint this week!  For my project today, I covered an artist's canvas with a piece of burlap and stapled it to the back.  Then I painted it with brown acrylic paint almost to the edges.  I have had this stencil for about 25 years!  I decided it was time to drag it out and use it again!  I dabbed vanilla paint with a sponge to get the pretty cat and border at the top.  Then, I sponged more paint along the edges and sides.  I adhered the pretty three layer Provocraft Cuttlebug Butterfly (37-1651) adorned with a few brown pearls
with Beacon 3-in-1 Glue to complete the canvas!

This also fits the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week.

This was such a fun project!
We hope you will join the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog
in our paint challenge this week!

ODBD June Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the June Release Blog Hop!!!  Kelley has some awesome sets for you this month and the Design Teams have been having a blast playing with them!!!  So today, our hop is all about these fabulous sets!  There are no secret words to collect, no email to send... just a fun blog hop.  I am the first stop on the hop today but you may want to check out the ODBD blog and start from there!!!

Here is what you have to do to be eligible to win one of the prizes:
  • Hop to each blog, leave a comment on each one.
  • Return to the ODBD Blog Hop post and leave a comment there telling us that you completed the hop and left everyone comments.
  • If for any reason you cannot leave a comment, please give us the name/s of the designers you were unable to leave comments for... and you'll still be qualified for the drawing.

Here's the fun part!  There are THREE prizes of $15.00 Gift Certificates to the ODBD Store, but they are hidden on three different designer's blogs, and even the designers don't know themselves who has them yet!!!

  • At that time the three designers with the prizes will be notified and they will randomly select their winner from their commenters. (So be sure to leave comments on all their blogs!)
  • They will check the ODBD post to be sure the person they draw has left their comment there, stating that they have completed the hop....
  • Then they will give the name to Grace, and the winners will be announced on Sat. the 5th along with the Shining the Light Challenge!

The sets I am using today are another fabulous border set called Fleur de Lis Borders and  a wonderful scripture set called Scripture Series 1.  Kelley had a little contest and asked for submissions from her customers and then she chose 6 to be used for this set!  How cool!!!
