SC646, Hugs!

Hello!

This week's sketch at Splitcoast, SC646, reminds me of a pocket design for a tag,
so that is what I created.

Here is the card with the tag tucked down inside the pocket:

The papers are all from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose pack.  I added trims of white card stock, one along the side that is punched with an old scalloped punch.  I also added lots of Martha Stewart Butterflies and Hydrangea blooms.  Then I added pearls.

Here is a close up of the tag:

The little image is from Penny Black Hugs! and is colored with copics.  I used a corner rounder and a hole punch on the tag.  The little flower is punched with and old SU! punch.  I added seam binding for the tag pull.

And that's it!  Come join us for this fun sketch challenge!
Have a wonderful day!

Thank a Bus Driver!

Good morning!

I have another card featuring one of the May Releases from Our Daily Bread Designs.  This release was all about appreciation for our teachers and counselors and bus drivers! School bus drivers have so much responsibility.  We rely on them to get our precious children and grandchildren to and from school safely, each and every day of the school year!  Let's not forget to thank these people in our lives!

For this card I used the set called School Bus Driver.  I colored the image with copics and fussy cut to pop up over the Rectangle and Pierced Rectangles.  The designer paper is from the Cozy Quilt Collection.  And then I just added the little Sparkling Stars and the Pennant Row banner to complete the card!

I am sharing this at ODBDSLC286 and CAS430.

Thanks so much for looking!
Have a wonderful day!

Looking Back at the ODBD May Release!

Good morning!

We are so happy you have joined us today as we share more projects with

For my card today, I have featured the new Class Act set, the A+ Apples dies, and the Clipboard Set of dies.  I did a little sponging on some of the die cuts.  I decided to emphasize the word 'heart' from the sentiment, so I added several hearts cut with Mini Stitched Hearts.  The back panel is made with Pierced Rectangles and Lavish Layers.  I added the die cut Thanks, a touch of pink stickles to the smallest heart, and some pretty pink seam binding to complete the card.

SC645, You Are Appreciated!

Hello!

This is for this week's Sketch Challenge #645!  The image is from the new ODBD set called Class Act.  I colored with copics and then fussy cut the image.  I adhered it to the Notebook Paper and Clipboard. I cut the Notebook Paper, (which is a new Stamp/Die Duo) out three times and curled one corner.   I don't know about you, but my notebook paper back in the day was always curled like this!  haha!  The Clipboard is not exactly ATC size but it is very close, which is why I used it for this sketch.  I added paper clips, which are included in the Clipboard dies, along three sides and a ribbon on the top of the clipboard.  The Clipboard is mounted onto a panel cut with the largest Snowflake Sky dies.  I stamped the top part of the image again and cut out just the apple to pop it up over the original image.  And that's it!  Have a wonderful day and I'll be back again soon!  YOU are appreciated!

Better Late Than Never...

Well, better late than never, right?
I made this last week actually but forgot to post it! Yep, I forgot....
It is also for the ODBDSLC286, to Just Say Thanks.

The apple is from the new ODBD set called Seeds of Knowledge.  I colored with copics to match the green card stock and cut it out with the Teacher's Apples die.  The teacher stamp is also from Seeds of Knowledge.  The thanks word die cut is ODBD Thanks die.  The circles are ODBD Pierced Circles and the papers are

Here is the inside:

The inside is stamped with another stamp in the Seeds of Knowledge set.

That's it!

SC644, Superstar Birthday

Happy Wednesday!

Today's Sketch #644 at Splitcoast is a fun one!  I did add one extra little banner to my card though.  This birthday sentiment is in the ODBD set called Superstar.  I used the following ODBD dies: Sparkling Stars, Pierced Rectangles, and Pennant Flags.  The polka dot and solid blue papers are from the ODBD Boho Bolds Paper Collection.

A quick and easy card!

WT634, You are Appreciated

Hello!  How are you?  Hope all is well!

This wonderful image is from a new ODBD set called Class Act.  I colored it with copics and cut out with a Pierced Oval and matted it with and Ornate Oval.  The designer papers are from the Chalkboard Collection.  I layered the two pieces together and cut out with a Pierced Rectangle, adding a Bitty Border.  I masked off part of the sentiment and stamped onto a Pennant Flag.  The word die You is from the Stamp/Duo set called You Bless Me So.  I cut it out twice to cover over where the masked off word was.  I then add the A+ from the new A+ Apples die set.  I completed the card by adding clear Wink of Stella to the apple!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
 Have a wonderful evening!

Sketch Challenge 643, Thanks!

Hello!  Hope you are having a great week!

This card is for this week's sketch at Splitcoast.  The little flower bouquet is from ODBD You Bless Me So Stamp/Die Duo.  I cut it out with an ODBD Pierced Circle and matted it with an ODBD Scalloped Circle.  The panel was done with several pieces of paper, including designer papers from the ODBD Cozy Quilt and Old Glory Paper Packs.  I used ODBD Pierced Rectangles and an exact-o knife to create the panel.  Finally, I added the ODBD Thanks and a tiny bow that was dyed with a copic marker to match the flowers!

That's it!  See you again soon!

My first project is for a favorite teacher.  I created a card and a matching water bottle tag!

The top of the tag has a circle cut out with ODBD Pierced Circles to fit over the bottle cap. The apples and all of the sentiments are from the new Seeds of Knowledge set.  I colored the apples with copics and cut them out with the coordinating Teacher's Apples dies.  I added a Bitty Border to the tag.  The main panel on the card is cut with the Circle Scalloped Rectangle die.  Then I added a few fun die cuts done with the new Clipboard Set dies.  I dyed the seam binding with a copic marker to match the apples.

Here is my second project, this time with a bus driver in mind:

For the card, I used the new School Bus Driver set.  I fussy cut the bus out, colored with copics and popped up on the main panel.  The main panel is cut and embossed with Snowflake Sky and Pierced Rectangles.

I saw someone do this idea on Pinterest!  I created a little gift tag for a pack of Extra gum.  The tag is made with the Notebook Paper Stamp/Die Duo and added to a Clipboard!  I thought that was a fun play on words and this is my favorite gum!  haha!
