Looking Back at the ODBD August Release

Good morning!
Thank you for joining us, as we look back at the fabulous

I absolutely love this Birdhouse set!  So fun to color!  I colored the image with copics to match the Birthday Brights papers.  Then I cut a frame with the Square dies and the Pierced Square dies.  I used the Pennant Row die along with the negative piece from cutting the Fence.  I attached the pennants with three of the tiny bows from the Windowsill Candles dies.  And I added a Bitty Border to the fence.  The sentiment is cut out with one of the Lavish Layers dies.

Summer Flowers

 Good morning!
today to make a summer card.

This beautiful flower image is from and ODBD set called Sweet as Perfume.  I colored it with copics and then cut it out using the out of the box technique.  I love the pretty summery yellow papers!

Watercolor Lifting Technique Sympathy Card

have been wanting to give it a try, so here is my first attempt.

I used distress markers to scribble the watercolor paper and then used water with a brush to smoosh the colors together.  Then I clear embossed the little flowers and butterflies from the new ODBD set called Vintage Bird Labels.  Then I smooshed the colors some more with water to get this final result.  Kinda cool to have the embossed images darker than the rest of the strip!  I glued this strip down to a piece of Birthday Brights paper and cut the panel out with a Pierced Rectangle.  The stamped 'WITH' and the die cut word 'Sympathy' are from the new With Sympathy stamp/die duo set.  I added a Bitty Border to complete this CAS card!

For You

Good morning!

I woke up early so decided to play in the Sketch Challenge at SCS.
I love this You Bless Me So stamp/die duo set that was released in June!
It is so fun to color and makes a sweet card!

I used copics to color the image to match the colors in the Birthday Brights and Birthday Bash Paper Collections.   I cut the designer papers with a Double Stitched Rectangle die and a Pierced Rectangle die.  I used Pierced Squares, Pierced Circles and the scalloped circle from Recipe Card and Tags.  I have fallen in love with the Bitty Borders dies and use them frequently!  Just too sweet!

I added ribbon, sequins and Wink of Stella to complete the card.

Heartfelt Sympathy

 Happy Saturday y'all!

I made this card today using the Inspiration Challenge of Plaster Art at SCS.  I also combined this challenge with a Dare to Get Dirty Challenge!  Don't know what that is about?  You have to be a SCS Fan Club member to play!  Click HERE to read about it!

The With Sympathy stamp/die duo is new from ODBD this month.  I used the Log Cabin Quilt Die to cut out the stamped sentiment.  I cut out a stencil with the Boho Background die and used that to add texture paste for my background.  Then I cut out Bitty Blossoms, Pretty Posies, and a Fancy Foliage.  I used a stylus on the flowers and added Pan Pastels to them.  I attached everything together and then made a frame with Pierced Rectangles.

Thanks!

Good morning!

I made this card this morning for the Sketch Challenge at SCS today and
for one of the Dare to Get Dirty challenges!
You must be a Fan Club member to join in the Dare to Get Dirty challenges.

So while I can't tell you the details of this challenge, I can give you the ingredients for my card!

This is a beautiful new set from Our Daily Bread Designs called Vintage Bird Labels.  This set is a re-do of a prior release but this time they were made to fit into the ODBD Vintage Labels dies, which coordinate with the Vintage Borders dies! I also used the new Flower Lattice Strip die.  The papers are from the Easter Card Collection and the Pastel Paper Pack.  I used a Double Stitched Rectangle and a Pierced Rectangle.  A pretty seam binding bow completes the card!
