Looking Back at the ODBD December Release

Today, we are taking a look back at the December Release from Our Daily Bread Designs.
Both of my cards today feature the new set called Seek Me.

For the card above, I cut an oval out of contact paper and sponged ink onto the background.  Then, with the mask still in place, I stamped the line of trees.  I then stamped the sentiment.  I made the frame with an Oval and an Oval Stitched Rows die.  I also used a Pierced Rectangle.  A pretty little white bow completes this CAS card.

Here is my next card:

I needed another Christmas card so I used this smaller tree silhouette stamp in the corner of a Pierced Rectangle.  I added the Merry Christmas Caps and a Bitty Border in red.  Love the contrast of color!  I added a tiny gold bow to complete the card.

That is it from me today!

Welcome to the ODBD December New Release!

Good morning!
We are so happy you have joined us as we share projects made with the

My first project above features the Winter Greetings set.  I colored the owl with copics.  I made a frame with Pierced Rectangles and the new Double Pierced Vintage Label dies.  And then used another Pierced Rectangle for the sentiment.

Here is my next project:

I created this card with the Center Step A2 die and the Center Step A2 Layers dies along with the new set called Peaceful Wishes.  I cut out a Lavish Layer, cut it down and pieced it together to fit the center panel.  I created a little 'village' in front of the tree image with the Neighborhood Border, Fence, Bitty Borders and Christmas Door Greenery.  The sentiment is cut out with a Double Pierced Vintage Label.  The tinier bows are from the Windowsill Candles dies.  The tiniest red circle on the white house is the inner part of the hole from a Mini Tags and Labels die.

And here is my last project:

A simple little rustic card made with the new Flourished Tree Inset and Retro Christmas Paper.  I used the twine to outline the tree for a little bit of interest to this simple card.

Taking a Look Back at the ODBD November Release!

Good morning!  Today we are sharing more projects with products from the ODBD November Release.  My first project above features the new Stamp/Die Duo called Joyful Christmas.  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out with the coordinating die.  I stamped the sentiment onto an Oval Stitched Rows die cut.  The beautiful paper is from the new Christmas Collection 2018 Paper Pad and is cut with a Pierced Rectangle.  The bottom layer is cut with a Snowflake Sky die.  A pretty seam binding bow completes the card.

Here is another card from me today:

For this card, I practiced the No Line Copic Coloring technique.  This Stamp/Die duo is called Merry Christmas.  I stamped the image three times.  After coloring the main layer, I cut it out with the coordinating die.  After coloring the other two images, I fussy cut the other two layers of the poinsettia.  I also used a stylus on the back of the flower layers to give it a little dimension.  The Poinsettia is popped up onto an Ornate Oval which is adhered to a Pierced Rectangle.  I added some pink rhinestones to the center to complete this card!

Welcome to the ODBD November Release!

Good morning!

My first card above features the Christmas Bells dies and the new Christmas Collection 2018 Paper Collection.  I used the following dies: Snowflake Sky, Double Stitched Rectangles, and Ornate Ovals.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Card Verses set.  I dabbed the bells, bow, and leaves with white ink to give it a frosty look.

Here is my second card:

This Poinsettia Box stamp is gorgeous and so fun to color!  I also used Pierced Rectangles and Alphabet Flags.  The paper is also part of the new Christmas Collection 2018.

My first project is made with the Diorama with Layers Dies.

In addition to the Diorama with Layers Dies, I used the following to create this project:

While the dioramas do take a little extra time to create, they come together quite easily!

Here is my second project:

This card features the new Stamp/Die Duo called Great Joy.  I colored the Three Wisemen with copics and then cut them out with the included die.  I also used the following dies: Bethlehem, Holy Night, Double Stitched Rectangles, and Pennant Flags.  The paper inside the window is from the Christmas Collection 2015 Pack.

Welcome to the ODBD October Release!

Good morning!

Welcome to the ODBD October New Release!
We are very happy to have you with us today and we know you will love this release!

My first project is made with the new Diorama With Layers die set!  The little scene on the inside is created with the Bethlehem dies.  The sentiment is part of the Christmas Card Scriptures set and is stamped on a panel cut with the side layer die from the Diorama With Layers die. I also used Splendorous Stars and Christmas Collection 2014 paper.

Here is my second project:

This one is very clean and simple using the Neighborhood Border die and more of the Christmas Collection 2014 paper.   On this card I included a sentiment on the inside:

Both sentiments, (front and inside), are from the Christmas Card Verses set.

Welcome to the ODBD September Release!

Good morning!
We are so happy to have you join us for the ODBD September New Release!
This month it is all about the music.

My first card above features the new set called Jesus Rocks along with the fun, new Musical Notes Background die.  The drum set silhouette and sentiment are cut out and matted with Double Stitched Circles.  I added a tiny splash of color with a small bow to complete this card.  A quick and easy masculine card!

Here is my second project:

This card features the wonderful hymn called Victory in Jesus!  I stamped it onto a piece of designer paper from the new Notable Notes Paper Pack and cut it to the same size as the card front.  I sanded down the edges for a distressed look.  I cut out the Musical Notes from the same pack and sanded those down as well.  I added the Piano die cuts, covering up the lower half of the hymn.  Then I added pretty seam binding bow to complete the card.

Looking Back at the ODBD August Release!

I don't know about you, but it seems I am always in need of a Get Well card.  The August Release from Our Daily Bread Designs has helped me get a little stash started so I won't have to scramble at the last minute.  And this card is masculine! I never do well making those masculine cards!
So, yay for me!  haha!

Welcome to the ODBD August Release!

Good morning!
So happy to have you join us as we share projects made with the

My first card features the new set called King of my Heart Stamp Die/Duo.  I used the heartbeat die from the set to create the background along with a Pierced Rectangle.  I cut the Ornate Heart out and then just cut it in half in a zigzag fashion.  Then I added one of the Bandages over the heart.  The Stethoscope was cut out twice, in gray and silver, and then assembled to create a bit more realistic one.  The Doctor Bag was cut out twice, sponged to give it a leathery appearance, and then glued together to create a little pocket.  I stamped the sentiment onto a tag from A Gift for You and attached it the bag handle with white ribbon.  The tag tucks inside the doctor bag nicely.

Here is my second card:

I am probably one of the very few people who love going to have my teeth cleaned!  I know, I know!  haha!  This new set called Happy Smiles Stamp Die/Duo is perfect!  Lots of ways to honor anyone in the dental field!  I kept this one clean and simple.  I created a frame with Pierced Rectangles and Ovals.  I added a background behind the frame with a piece that was embossed with the Boho Background die.  I colored the cute little tooth image with copics and cut it out with the matching die.  He is perched on a ledge cut with a Bitty Border.  I added the little bow from Circle Ornaments to complete the card!

Looking Back at the ODBD July Release!

Good morning!
Today we are sharing more projects with the July Release from Our Daily Bread Designs.

My first project features the new Walk By Faith Stamp/Die Duo.  I also used Bitty Blossoms, Bitty Borders, Circle Ornaments, Pierced Ovals, and Pierced Rectangles.  I made this for this week's  CAS490 Challenge at Splitcoast.

Here is my second project:

For this one, I used only the little square die from the Quilted Window Squares die.  I cut out 12 squares from various pieces of papers from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection.  I added the squares to a panel cut out with a Pierced Rectangle.  The sentiment is also part of the Blushing Rose Paper Collection.  I cut it out with a Vintage Label die which is adhered to a Vintage Flourish Pattern die.  No stamping!  I just added a pretty seam binding bow to complete the card.

Today, I am sharing projects I made with some of the July New Releases from Our Daily Bread Designs.  My first card features the new Hugs Stamp/Die Duo.  The pretty papers are from the Shabby Pastels pack and the Shabby Rose pack.  I used Pierced Rectangles, Leafy Edged Borders, and Ornate Ovals.

Here is my second card:

This card features an older stamp set called Sewn with Love paired with the new Quilted Window Squares dies!  The inner squares of paper are from the Shabby Rose paper collection.  I then used the Lattice Background die to 'quilt' the panel.  The sentiment is cut with an Ornate Ovals die.

Looking Back at the ODBD June Release!

Good morning!

Today, we are taking a look back at the ODBD June Release!
The silhouettes are so sweet!

My project features the Sister in Christ set.  I stamped it onto a background I had made a long time ago, with tissue paper.  I framed the image with a frame I made with an ODBD Square die and the new Flourishy Frame.  The sentiment is cut out with a Pierced Circle.  The designer papers are from the Old Glory Paper Pack.  I finished the card with a tiny blue bow.

Welcome to the ODBD June Release!

Good morning!

My first card features the new set called Sister Time along with the new Lacey Corners Dies and the Inspiration Words dies.  The silhouette image is stamped in pink.  I cut the main panel out with a Pierced Rectangle and was able to tuck the corners into the corners of the Lacey Corners die.  I cut out the word Hugs and one of the smaller dies in the Lacey Corners Die set is the frame.  I added pink rhinestones and a white seam binding bow to complete the card.

Here is my second card:

This card features the Brother in Christ set.  First I created a background by making a paper stencil with the Lattice Background die and sponging inks onto through the stencil. Then, I stamped the silhouette image and cut the panel out with a Pierced Rectangle.  A larger Pierced Rectangle panel cut from Birthday Brights Paper Pad works as the mat.  I also cut out a Bitty Border and a Large Banner from the same green paper.  The sentiment is cut with an Oval Stitched Rows die.
