F4A397, It's Twins!

Happy Friday!

Today's Free for All at Splitcoast is all about what makes you smile!  Well, holding precious babies makes me smile!  Recently, my mother and I had the pleasure of holding twin boys born to some of our neighbors just a few weeks ago!  What a feeling of happiness and joy holding babies does for me!

This card is made with a stamp/die duo from North Coast Creations called Bundle of Love.  I colored the baby giraffes with copics and cut them out.  The designer paper is from the NCC Sweet Shoppe Paper Pad.  I also used the following ODBD dies: Pierced Rectangles, Double Stitched Stars, Bitty Borders, Sparkling Stars, and Pennant Row.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Really Loving the ODBD Large Numbers!

Hey there!  I have a couple of cards to share that I have made recently.  Both cards feature the Large Numbers dies from Our Daily Bread Designs!  For the card above I started by distressing the edges of several panels out of the Vagabond Treasures Paper Pad from Artistic Outposts.  I used brown ink to sponge the edges and added a few stamped images from the AO set called Grunge Elements. I added a few ODBD Steampunk Gears and then a retired Happy Birthday from North coast Creations.  I sponged the die cuts with brown ink, and white ink and copper metallic alcohol ink.

Here is another one:

For this one I did the watercolor tissue paper technique for the background.  I cut out the background panel with an ODBD Pierced Rectangles.  I used the Tea Time set and the coordinating Teapot and Roses die.  In addition to the ODBD Large Numbers, I also used the Ornate Hearts and Doily.  I added a seam binding bow, pearls and a tiny cross charm. And some bits of tulle!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  See you again soon!

Welcome to the NCC September Release!

 Good morning!

Welcome to the North Coast Creations September Release Blog Hop!  We are so happy to have you with us today!  The sets and dies this month are so stinkin' adorable!  So let's get started!

Here is my first card again:

awwwwww!  I love this precious little elephant!  She makes such a sweet baby card, don't you think?  She is part of the Stamp/Die Duo called Bundle of Love.  I colored the elephant with copic markers and then used the coordinating die to cut her out.  She is popped up over an ODBD Ornate Heart with ribbon wound through the lacy edging.  The background is made with leftover strips from two ODBD paper pads: Shabby Rose Collection and Pastel.  I also used ODBD Pierced Rectangles and ODBD Pennant Flags.

Here is a second card made with this Stamp/Die Duo:

awwwwww!  haha!  I know!  I colored the baby giraffe with copics and cut him out with the coordinating die.  He is popped up on an ODBD Pierced Oval which is popped up on an ODBD Pierced Rectangle.  The papers are from the NCC Sweet Shoppe Collection and is also cut out with an ODBD Pierced Rectangle.  I also used the ODBD Bitty Borders for this quick and easy card.

Next up:

Time to Go Wild!  This fun new Stamp/Die Duo is also quite fun to color! I used copics to color the image and then cut it out with the matching die.  I used ODBD Ornate Hearts again with a panel from the ODBD Pastel Paper Pack peeking through.  I also used ODBD Clouds and Raindrops, Balloons and Streamers, Windowsill Candles and Pierced Rectangles.

Here is a second one using this Stamp/Die Duo:

I had a blast coloring up all these wonderful creatures! The papers are from the NCC Sweet Shoppe Pack.  I used the following ODBD dies: Ovals, Pierced Rectangles, Bitty Borders and Sparkling Stars.

And last but certainly NOT least:

Llama Tell You!  haha!  See?  Didn't I tell you all of the new sets this month are adorable???  I colored the image and cut him out with an ODBD Oval.  I layered the oval over several panels of papers from ODBD Birthday Bash and ODBD Boho Bolds.  I also used ODBD Pennant Row, ODBD Pierced Rectangles and ODBD Pennant Flags.

This time I actually fussy cut the image after coloring.  There is something about this set that just makes me want to use bright bold colors!  The background was made with strips of paper from ODBD Boho Bolds, ODBD Beautiful Boho and NCC Sweet Shoppe.  I also used the following ODBD dies:  Ovals, Pierced Rectangles, Pennant Row and Pennant Flags.

A Look Back at the ODBD September Release!

Hello there!
We are so happy you have joined us today a we take a look back at

Here is my first cards again:

This card features the Remembrance set.  I cut the sentiments out with a Circle die and layered it with a Pierced Circle die.  The papers are from the Stars and Stripes pack.  And the tiny stars are from the USA Flag die.  I also used the following dies: Lattice Background, Pennant Flags and Sparkling Stars.  Oh and the Alphabet dies too!  Go USA!

Next up:

Love this quote by Ronald Reagan!  It is part of the Justice For All set.  Again the papers are from the Stars and Stripes pack.  I've also used Ovals, Stitched Ovals, Double Stitched Rectangles, Sparkling Stars, Double Stitched Stars and Pennant Flags.

And here is my third card for today's post:

I used a leftover piece of paper from the Stars and Stripes paper.  I had cut out a Sparkling Star for another card.  All the papers are sponged along the edges and distressed.  The sentiment is from the single called Defining Force.  I sponged the ribbon as well to keep that grunge look going.

That's it!

I am your first stop today!  Here is my first card again:

Isn't this USA Flag Die amazing???  I love it!  I just had to pair it with our Pledge of Allegiance which is in the Justice For All set.  I also used the following dies: Pierced Rectangles, Double Stitched Rectangles, Bitty Borders and Pennant Row.  I wound hemp twine around the Pennant Row to complete this card.

Here is my second project:

For this card, I distressed the edges of several panels of the new Stars and Stripes paper.  I ran the bottom panels through my die cut machine, embossing with the Pierced Rectangles to mimic stitches.  This sentiment is a single and is called Defining Force.  It is also cut out with a Pierced Rectangle and the card is finished off with the twine.

And here is my last card for today:

Both sentiments are from the Remembrance set and the papers are from the Stars and Stripes paper pad.  I also used Pierced Rectangles, Double Stitched Rectangles, Sparkling Stars, Double Stitched Stars, Layering Hearts, Pennant Row, and Double Stitched Pennant Flags.  And again, I completed the card with hemp twine.
