WT659, You are my Sunshine!

Hello! How's your Fall?
It has been nice and cool here and I love it!

My card today is for the Ways to Use It challenge on Splitcoast to fussy cut.  The sunflower is from the new ODBD set called Be a Sunflower.  I stamped it twice and colored each one with copics.  I cut one out with the coordinating Sunflower die and then I fussy cut the other image out to add on top for a little dimension!  The Stitched Leaves dies are new too as well as the Double Stitched Rounded Rectangles.  The pretty papers are from the new Fall Favorites Paper pack.

That 's it!
Have a wonderful day!

Welcome to the NCC October New Release Post!

Good morning!

We are so happy to have you with us this morning
as we share projects made with two adorable new stamps

Here is my first card again featuring Jesus is Born:

I love nativity scenes and this one is so very sweet! I colored the image with copics and cut out with an ODBD Pierced Circle.  I used the ODBD Doily die to cut out the mat for the circle.  The papers are from ODBD Holly Jolly and Christmas Coordinating 2015.  The designer paper panel is cut out with an ODBD Pierced Rectangle.  The ribbon is colored with a matching copic marker.

Here is my second card with Jesus is Born:

Again, the nativity is colored with copics.  I cut out the image and the mat with ODBD Double Stitched Rounded Rectangles dies.  The designer paper is from ODBD Winter Collection 2014.  I also cut out a Splendorous Star and some tiny Sparkling Stars from that same sheet of paper and added gold Wink of Stella to the stars and parts of the image.

Next up, are two cards featuring Swimming Santa!

Isn't he fun?  For this card, I colored him with copics and fussy cut him out.  He is popped up over an ODBD Rounded Rectangle and then a panel cut out with Pierced Rectangles.  The designer papers are ODBD Holly Jolly and Christmas Coordinating 2015. I added the Merry Christmas die cut and then used Clear Wink of Stella to 'paint' over the entire green area and on some of the image areas.  I added a rhinestone to dot the i, and ribbon colored with a matching copic marker.

For this card, I colored Swimming Santa with copics and cut him out again. I tried to make him look sunburned! I sponged a beachy background on a Pierced Rectangle and popped up Santa in the water.  I drew in the little water movement areas.  I added a Fence and then created the palm tree with the limb from Owl Family, Pine Branches and Christmas Lights.  I added a little sparkle here and there with Wink of Stella.

And that is all from me!

Looking Back at the ODBD October Release

Good morning!
Today we are taking a look back at the October Release!

My first card features the Be a Sunflower set and matching Sunflower die!  Along with the super gorgeous Follow the Son and Fall Favorites paper pads!  I colored the image with copics before cutting it out.  It is popped up over the layers of gorgeous papers.  One panel is cut with a Pierced Rectangles.  I added a little bit of twine to complete this card.

Here is my second card:

I am loving this Ice Skate die!
I cut Pine Branches from Christmas 2015 paper and made a wreath for the Ice Skate.
The berries from the Windowsill Candles and the Ice Skate are cut from the
Christmas Coordinating 2015 paper pad.  The background is ODBD Snowflake Sky.
The sentiment is from Card Greetings and
is on a strip that I had cut and snipped the tails off myself.

CAS450, Merry Christmas

Good morning!

Today's CAS challenge at Splitcoasis to add another layer but keep it clean.  No stamping on this card, it's all about the dies.  I created a frame with ODBD Pierced Rectangles.  I used the ODBD Holy Night die and the new Merry Christmas Caps die.  The pretty red paper is from the Christmas Coordinating 2015 paper pad.  I added clear Wink of Stella for a little sparkle to complete the card!

That's it!  Gotta love it!  Easy Peasy!

This card also features the Card Greetings set.  I also used the new Ornament Branch and Pine Branches.  The main panel is cut with the larges Snowflake Sky die and the bows are from the Circle Ornaments die set.  Pearls on each ornament complete the card.

Here is my last card for today:

Aren't the new Fall papers gorgeous?!  I have combined the Follow the Son Paper Pad with the Fall Favorites Paper Pad.  The Stitched Leaves and the largest Stitched Oval are cut from the the Blushing Rose Paper Collection.  The base card is cut with one of the new Rounded Rectangles dies and the pretty paper panel is cut with a Double Stitched Rounded Rectangle.  The sentiment is from Be a Sunflower.
