New Releases for North Coast Creations!

Good morning!  Thank you for joining us on this Saturday morning!

Two random winners will be selected from the comments left on the designers blogs, the winners will be announced on the NCC Blog on November 25, 2014, be sure to check back there to see if you have won!

Here is my first card:

It's Snow Angel Murphy!  He is so cute!!! I wanted him to look like he was in lots of beautiful snow making his snow angel, so I added snow hills by tearing strips of paper and combining them to make three hills.  Murphy is stamped on the closest hill and colored with copics.  I stamped and colored him several more times, in order to cut out different pieces of him and then I layered the pieces up.  I used ODBD Pennant Alphabet Swag letters to make the card title and shaded the words with a copic marker.  Angel is cut out and made into a little banner.  Then I added the little bow and some stickles to complete the card.  I even added stickles to Murphy's nose!

Here is my next card:

I am totally loving this Nutcracker stamp!   And I wanted to use the ODBD Christmas 2014 Paper Collection with him so that's where I got the color combo from.  The edges of each paper layers are painted haphazardly with white acrylic paint.  This gives it a dreamy look I think.  I also added an ODBD Sparkling Star die cut behind him.

Here is another look at these two new stamps:

Ok that's it for me!

B-L-E-S-S-I-N-G-S

 Happy Friday!!!

Here is a card for the latest challenge on the

I chose:
B-little touches of blue (this might be a stretch!), S-stars, S-scripture, I-ink.  G-glitter glue in case the B doesn't cut it!  Or another S-stickles!  haha!

This new Christmas 2014 Paper Collection is just so gorgeous!  I stamped the verse from Come Let Us Adore Him right onto the paper and then framed it with a frame made with a Spellbinders square.  I stamped the star onto a sheet from the beautiful Winter 2014 Paper Collection and cut it out with the Splendorous Star die.  Then I used pink glitter glue (stickles) to highlight the star and the inside of the frame!  That's it!  Quick and easy!

Looking Back at the ODBD November Release!

 Good morning!

Today we are taking a look back at the fabulous November release!  I have two cards to share featuring some of the new stamps and dies and papers!

My first card uses a verse from His Birth.  I cut it out with a Vintage Flourish Pattern die and added three tiny stars cut with one of the dies in the Sparkling Stars set.  I popped it up over the beautiful papers from the Christmas Collection 2014.  Then I cut out stars with Splendorous Stars set.  (I tucked in the little Custom Shining Star die also, that is a bonus free die while supplies last, when you purchase the Star Die Bundle!)

Here is my next card:

A little shabbiness for you!  Again using the His Birth set and the same Christmas Paper 2014 Collection.  I distressed the edges of the background panels.  The stars are cut with the Sparkling Stars dies.  I also added pennant banners cut with the Pennant Row dies.  I added the sentiment and some pink rhinestones to complete the card.  Oh and a little pink button threaded with silver cord!

Gold Stars and Stripes X Two

Hi there!  Hope you all have a had a great week!  Can't believe we are already into November and the holidays are about to be in full swing!!!  Yikes!  I managed to play in this week's sketch challenge on Splitcoast.  And I am loving this new stamp set (His Birth) and matching dies (Sparkling Stars) and new paper (Winter Collection) from Our Daily Bread designs!  I used versamark and gold embossing powder to match the pretty papers.  I added stickles to the stars for just a little extra sparkle.

And since I had cut the paper to fit the sketch challenge, I had the opposite pieces ready to make another card!

This time I added the gold cording and added stickles and glitter for the sparkle on the stars!

I am entering one or both of these to
the ODBDSLC217 to make a Holiday Card!
Two more Christmas cards done y'all!!

A Look Back at the NCC October Release!

Gobble!
We are so glad to have you with us today as we take another look at the newest release from North Coast Creations!  I have two cards to share!

Here's Tommy!  I tried my hand at paper tole again using this cute Tommy Turkey stamp!  I made a couple of mistakes but all in all I like how he came out!  He is cut out with the ODBD Circle Ornament die and matted with the ODBD Matting Circles dies.  The background paper is from ODBD Rustic Beauty.

Here is my second card:

This is the Snowman Family!  I cut the sentiment out (and cut a 'mat')  with ODBD Recipe Card and Tags die.  The bow is from ODBD Circle Ornament dies and the stars are from ODBD Sparkling Stars dies.  Also the designer paper is from the ODBD Christmas 2014 paper collection.  I added stickles here and there for sparkle!

Here are the two new sets that I used in the cards above:

It's Time For the ODBD November Release!

 Good morning!
We are so happy you are joining us today as we share projects made with the November releases from Our Daily Bread designs!  Here is how you can win:

And now, back to my first card:

This card features a sentiment from the Reach for the Stars Mini set along with the little star stamp from His Birth.   The sentiment is cut out with a Vintage Flourish Pattern die.  The paper is from the from the Blushing Rose Collection.   I did lots of distressing to get that shabby look.  I made a banner with one of the Sparkling Stars dies.  I cut out some of the tiny stars and placed them here and there.  I finished the card with pearls and a pretty seam binding bow.

Here is my second card:

I went a little shabby (well, a lot!) on this card too!  I made a shaped card with Spellbinders Labels 29.  I glued white tulle onto the first layer and then added a distressed and glittered panel from the new Christmas 2014 Paper Collection.  Then I glued more tulle down.  I cut out the sentiment from the new Silk Stars set with the Vintage Flourish Pattern die, and glued it over the tulle.  More tiny stars from the Sparkling Stars dies and a Silk Star cut out with the Splendorous Stars dies along with even more tulle!  The row of pearls and the seam binding bow were the finishing touches.

Here is another angle which shows more of the sparkle:
