Sweet Williams and Cheery Doilies

Hi there!  I've got a couple of cards to share tonight!
The first one is for the sketch challenge at Christian Paper Crafts.

I used a sheet of pale blue card stock from Archivers.  I embossed the background with a folder from the Cuttlebug Preserves collection.  I added a border punched with and EKSuccess punch.  I stamped the Sweet William from ODBD twice and heat embossed with white powder.  On the top flower, I cut each petal to give it more dimension.  To create the center, I used a scrap of lace in my stash, rolled it up and secured it with glue.  Then I added the pearl!  The lace and ribbon along the border is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I made the bow with my Bow Easy tool!  To complete the card, I sprayed it with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist.

Here is a close up of my second card!

And here is the full card:

I just got this great new doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs!  So pretty!!  After cutting it out, I used a stylus on the back to try to give it an embossed feel.  I added the EKSuccess border at the bottom.  I stamped the sentiment from ODBD Mini Tags Three and cut it out with a Spellbinders circle.  Then I added Martha twig around the center, Martha Hydrangea flower around the doily, lots of pearls and finally a pretty little white bow I made with my Bow Easy.  I sprayed it with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist to finish the card!

That's it tonight!  Thanks for visiting and I'll see you again soon!

Butterfly Blessings and Prayers

Good Morning!  I have a couple of cards to show you today!  This first card is for two challenges!

The background is Core'dinations paper embossed with the Vintage Border Embossing Plate which was just released this month from ODBD.  I sanded the embossing to show the inner core of the paper.  The tag is made with another new ODBD set called Mini Tags 1, one of three new Mini Tag sets created by our own Lorelie Kim!  The ODBD butterfly and the tag are heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The beautiful lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I added some Spellbinders Parisian Accents and pearls to complete the card!

For this card, I went a little artsy with a sheet from a Webster's Pages pack.  It is embossed with the ODBD Vintage Border Embossing Plate and rubbed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink pad to show the embossing.  The sentiment is from the ODBD Mini Tags 3 set stamped on a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval.  The edge was created with and EKSuccess punch, lace, pearls and trim.  I added Want2Scrap black bling and little pearls to the Martha butterflies to complete the card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  See you again soon!

Purple Elegance

Hi there!!!  Hope all is well!  I have another card to show you that I made last night!  I had to wait until tonight to show you so the Diamond Glaze could dry.  Even thought the glaze caused the ink to smear a little, I kind of like how it looks!  LOL!!!  The image is from the Bird and Butterfly Labels from ODBD which was designed for the Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die set.  I used the Mom set too.  The back ground is a sheet from a Webster's Pages pack and is embossed with a Sizzix folder.  I matched the designer paper with SU! Elegant Eggplant card stock and ink.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I added butterflies, a button and tons of bling.  Finally, I added the Diamond Glaze to the main image and the butterflies.  Oh yeah, the strip at the bottom is a die cut using one of the Spellbinders Parisian Accents dies.  That's it!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great night!

Violets and Lilacs and Plums, Oh My!

Hi there!  Some of the Our Daily Bread designs DT are so excited to have been invited to sponsor the latest challenge on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings Blog!  The ribbon on my card is just one example of the beautiful ribbon they have!  Well, as you may have guessed, the challenge is to use violet, lilac or plum on your project along with ribbon, of course!  I sponged SU! Pale Plum ink on the SU! designer paper (which is embossed with a SU! embossing folder) and the Labels Seventeen.  The tulips are colored with copics and cut out for the bouquet.  And the edges of the Fancy Label are adorned with die cuts using a Parisian Accents Spellbinders die!

Please join us for this fun challenge!
Thanks so much for visiting with me today and hope you have a great weekend!
