Another Look at the ODBD December Release!

 Good morning!!!
Today we are taking a look back at the December Releases
from Our Daily Bread designs!  Thank you for joining us!

I chose to showcase the Mini Tag Sentiments and Mini Tag Dies.  I absolutely love these new stamps and dies!  The smaller sentiments and tags fit my style!  The paper squares are part of the Christmas 2014 Paper Collection.  The squares are all distressed and I did a white wash on them.  I added a Peaceful Poinsettia/Fancy Foliage spray that is lightly shaded with a pale pink ink.  A half pearl and a few Sparkling Stars complete the card!  Oops! And a little bit of Stickles too!

Here are the new products I used today:

Here is a look at my first card again:

See how cute??!!!  First, I made  an easy background with card stock and even though it's hard to see in the photo, I sponged clouds using a punched out scalloped oval and white ink.  I also made the brown card stock a little dirtier by sponging it with brown ink.  Then I colored the pieces from the Dump Truck Birthday set with copics after stamping and cutting them out.  Each piece is popped up with foam tape.  The birthday sign is cut with a Spellbinders Octagon.  The pole is from the ODBD Pennants dies.
Here is my second card:

Another cute birthday card, this time made with the I Dig You set!  I cut out the tractor and colored with copics.  The back wheel is cut out on its own and popped up with double foam tape so it sticks out a little more from the rest of the tractor!  The Fence is from ODBD.  Again, I sponged clouds, this time with blue ink onto white card stock.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the sentiment!

Here are the two sets releasing today:

For You

Hello!  This is for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS!  The inspiration is  Papyrus Online and I chose this photo as my inspirationI was inspired by the beautiful colors which reminded me of the Blushing Rose Paper Collection from ODBD.   I decided to do a gate fold card with a belly band.

The paper pack comes with a couple of sheets with wonderful designs ready to cut out with ODBD dies!  And I love how the new ODBD Gilded Gate looks wrapped around the belly band!  I tucked several pieces of a Fancy Foliage die cut through the gate.

Here is a shot with the card open:

I ended up using no stamps at all!  The label inside says:

She is clothed in strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
Prov.  31:25

And here is a shot of the back:

A Second Look at the NCC November Release!

Good morning!
Today we are taking a look back at the November Releases from

My first card, above, showcases Snow Angel Murphy.  So cute!!!  I stamped him several times and colored.  I cut out different areas of Murphy in order to do the Paper Tole technique.  I added lots of glitter too.  The background papers are from the ODBD Christmas 2014 Collection.  I added paint to the paper panels.  I also used an ODBD Beautiful Borders die, an ODBD Mini Tag Sentiment and an ODBD Mini Tag Die.

Here is my next card:

I love coloring this cute little Nutcracker!  After I colored him I fussy cut him out and added him to the ODBD Vintage Flourish die cut.  The papers are from the ODBD Christmas 2014 Collection, again with some painted added to the panels.  I also used the ODBD Fence die,  and ODBD Mini Tag Sentiment and an ODBD Mini Tag die.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  To see more inspiration using Snow Angel Murphy and Nutcracker, check out these links to my sister 'Coasters'!

Poinsettia Gift Box and Card

Good morning friends!  Hope things are going well with you!
I have a little quick and easy gift box and 3x3 gift card to share this morning!  So easy you can make it in no time for those last minute gifts or gift cards!

I cut a piece of chipboard that I had saved from packaging to a 9x9 square.  Then I scored at three inches and six inches.  I turned the square a quarter turn and scored again at 3 and 6 inches.  Then I cut out the outside corners, folded up the sides, punched holes in the corner and threaded ribbon through to tie the sides together.  Then I decorated with beautiful paper from the ODBD Winter Paper Collection.  I added a lace border with ODBD Beautiful Borders.  Then a gorgeous white poinsettia cut with ODBD Peaceful Poinsettia dies.  New this month from ODBD, are the cute little Mini Tag Sentiments and Mini Tag dies.  You can see two of the different shaped tags in the photos.

Next I made a matching 3x3 gift card!  I also did just a bit of white washing on the papers.  Not too much, just a tad.  You can add tissue paper or that crinkled paper gift bag stuff, fill it with goodies and enjoy the gift of giving!

Here is my first card:
What better way to welcome one of our Marines home than to give him or her a card made with love!  A great new Patriotic Paper Collection and a set of American Hero sentiments is among the new releases this month!  And how fun to be able to cut out the sentiments with a dog tag die from the Mini Tag Dies set!  I also used the Sparkling Stars dies and Pennant Row die from former releases.  Just a touch of stickles was added to the tiny stars to complete the card!
Here is my second card:

Adding to my Christmas card stash this time with a ticket from the Admit Three set.  I heat embossed it in detail silver embossing powder and cut it out with one of the Mini Tag Dies.  Then I attached it to a tag cut with the Recipe Card and Tags Dies.  The Mini Tags Dies includes a little cross die which I added to the tag.  The papers are from the Winter 2014 and Christmas 2014 Paper Collections.  I did a white wash on them to mute the colors a little bit.  I added a Peaceful Poinsettia and Fancy Foliage spray.  I completed the card with silver glitter glue and silver sequins.
