I am so excited to join the For the Love Hop today!  Hope you have enjoyed it so far!

I made a little tag using a quote from the Bicycle set.

This tag would be great for a friend or loved one's birthday!  The tag is made with a piece of chipboard from some packaging.  I covered it with some pretty Prima papers and then distress and sponged the edges for that aged look.  I added lace and pearls, a pretty canvas butterfly, some seam binding and ribbon and a cute little wooden bicycle embellishment!  Oh and a bouquet of flowers too!!!

Now head on over to see what the fabulous Angie has created to share with you today!!!
Thanks so much for hopping with us today!  See you again soon!

I am your last stop, so if you arrived here from Lori's Lovely Blog, you are in the right place!  For my card today, I used the following:

I started by combining a couple of coordinating sheets of BoBunny Snowfall designer paper.  Then I stamped the Christmas Blessings sentiment and cut it out with a Spellbinders Oval.  Then I cut out a Spellbinders Floral Oval and stamped the Joy to the World Hymn on it.  I sponged the edges of each oval with distress ink and layered it over the lace and seam binding with foam tape.  I made a bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker and then decided to cut the loops!  Then I just tied some hemp twine around it and glued the whole thing down with Beacon 3-in-1 glue.  The last little detail I added was a tiny bit of bling dotting the 'i' in Christmas!

We want to thank you for joining us today!
Now head back on over to the ODBD blog!  See you again soon!!!

We are so happy to have you join us today!!!
I chose to use the ODBD set called He Watches Me.  I love this image with it's coordinating scripture and quotes!  And the sparrow has a custom sparrow die to match!  How cool is that?!

I colored the image with copics and then cut it out with the die.  I stamped the quote and cut out a banner to stick inside the frame.  The frame is sprayed with Blue Glimmer Mist to match the Prima paper and Prima flowers.  The seam binding bow was made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.  I finished the card with some pearl flourishes!

Now head on over to the blog of the super sweet and talented Jan Keen for more inspiration!!!

Enjoy the hop y'all!
See you again soon!

For the Love of Flowers!

You have until Wednesday, May, 9th at 6 pm. The winner will be announced May 10th!

We hope you enjoy hopping with us today!  If you arrived here from the talented Lori's blog then you are in the right place!  If not, just head back to the ODBD blog to start from the beginning.

I have two cards to share today!  Here is the first one:

And here are the two sets I used on this card:

I stamped the daffodils with Memento ink and colored with copics.  I stamped extra flowers for layering.  I embossed the background with a SU! folder and then popped up the extra daffodils.  I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a Spellbinders Oval and matted with a Spellbinders Floral Ovals.  I added the pearls and the sweet little bow that I made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker!  Lastly, I spritzed it with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist.

Here is my second card!

And here are the two sets I used to make it:

I started by embossing the designer paper with the SU! folder again and after attaching to the card base I used a corner rounder on just the one corner.  I know I haven't mentioned it in a while but the adhesive I use most is the Scotch ATG Tape Glider.  It is one of the best crafty things I have ever bought!  Anyway, I stamped and colored all the tulips with copics and cut each one out.  It's not too intricate so cutting wasn't too bad.  I also cut the entwined stems to make two separate pieces.  Next I added the lace and the Spellbinders birdcage. I placed each tulip 'inside' the birdcage using a bit of glue on the stems and foam tape on the blooms.  Then I added some Cheery Lynn Designs Flourishes to the mix!  I stamped the word Joy three times and punched with the little SU! tag punch and place here and there.  The little blue rose cameo is from The Girl's Paperie.  I picked up a pack at Archiver's recently.
Anyway, here is one more look:

Thanks you so much for hopping with us today!!!!
Hope you are enjoying your stroll through the garden!

Your next stop is to the amazing Kathy Roney's blog!!!

For the Love of Backgrounds!

We are having a special anniversary week here at ODBD and have had a great week so far!  Today, several of the bread sticks have cards to share with you that feature the wonderful backgrounds that ODBD has to offer!  Today it is all about BACKGROUNDS!!!  If you arrived here from Grace's Blog   then you are in the right place! If not please begin the hop at the Our Daily Bread designs Blog.  Make sure you leave a comment on each designers' blog because one of the blogs is a hot spot and a name will be drawn from those comments to win a $15.00 ODBD store gift certificate!  You have until March 28 to leave your comment and the winner will be announced on March 29th!  Hope you enjoy the rest of the hop!  Now here is my card!

I chose three backgrounds to use for this card!!!  Yes, three!!!

I stamped the Wood Background first in brown ink and then stamped the Old Flag Background in black ink.  I colored the flag in with copics and then used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink dragging it over the image to give it that distressed/aged look.  On the background behind the flag layer, I stamped the Wood Background in brown and then the He Shall Be Called Background in black.  I did the same inking technique on this layer but used less ink.  Then I tore some lace into pieces, and glued and smooshed it into place in the corner.  I stamped the sentiment from the God Bless America set, and cut it out with the Spellbinders Ribbon Banners die.  I glued down the USA charm and hemp twine to complete the card!  Here is a closer view:

Now head on over to Deb's blog to see what she has created for you!  Don't forget all the festivities this week for ODBD's 4th anniversary.  The much anticipated Anniversary Release Day Blog hop is this weekend and we hope you will join us as we celebrate!  Thanks again for stopping by!
