Spirit and Peace

Hi everyone!  Hope your weekend was great!  Got all your Christmas shopping done?  I'm done shopping and wrapping and decorating and mailing cards!  Just a little candy and cookie making to do this week before the family gatherings begin next weekend!!!

My card today uses the new ODBD Snowflake Sentiment set.  I cut out the sentiment with the ODBD/Spellbinders Elegant Oval dies and placed it over a piece of designer paper that is embossed with a SU! embossing folder.  It reminds me of a quilt.  I added a strip of punched lace and some pretty seam binding.  I made the bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker and added a couple of rhinestones to the snowflakes in the sentiment.

I am submitting this to several challenges:

SCS CT1212-Baby, It's Cold Outside
SCS Word1212-C-CAS, O-Oval, L-Lace punch, D-Diecut

Gloria! Wreath

ODBD

Hey y'all!  Here's one I made for the SCS Fan Club Central Theme-Hang It All and for Word Art Wednesday58-God Will Take Care of You.  I made a wreath by cutting a circle with two Spellbinders Circle dies and gluing lots of Martha's little punched twigs to the circle base!  I framed the wreath using Spellbinders Marvelous Squares.  I sprayed the wreath lightly with Brick glimmer Mist and also sprayed the seam binding to give it a little shimmer.  I made the bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.  I stamped the angels from the ODBD set called Away in a Manger and cut them out.  Then I cut out the sentiment with a Spellbinder banner die.  I added a few pearls to the wreath to finish the card!

Snowflake Tag

ODBD

Hi there!!!  Just a quick little tag to share with you using the new ODBD Sparkling Snowflakes set along with the Snowflake Sentiments set!   I covered a piece of chipboard from some packaging materials with some pretty musical designer paper.  I painted the edges with white acrylic paint and then also sponged them with Vintage Photo distress ink.  I stamped the snowflakes and the sentiment on the same paper and cut them out using the ODBD/Spellbinders Snowflakes Dies and a Spellbinders Oval.  The sentiment is framed with the ODBD/Spellbinders Elegant Oval Die.  I added lace and pearls and buttons.  I made a hanger with seam binding and added a pretty bow I made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker!  Then I added stickles here and there for a little sparkle!

I am submitting this to the ODBDSLC134 challenge to create using the word NOEL.  N-notes, O-oval, E-elegant oval, L-lace.  Also, entering this to the SCS Fan Club Monthly Theme-Hang It All!  Here are the ODBD supplies I used:

Snowy Christmas Blessings

ODBD

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great week!  Happy Friday!

I made this card with two of the new sets that ODBD just released!

Sparkling Snowflakes and Snowflake Sentiments

This is another CAS card which make them so much easier to mail!  The base and the tag are Kraft card stock.  The tag is a Spellbinders Holiday Tag die cut.

I stamped a background of snowflakes with Ruby Red ink.  I stamped off the ink several times to get the lighter shade.  Then I ran the background through my Cuttlebug with a Snowflake embossing folder.  I used twine to wrap it up like a present and added a little rhinestone to the tag!

I am linking this with Word Art Wednesday and SCS Ways to Use It challenge and CCC12!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and see you again soon!

Now, on to my first card:

I used the Snowflake Sentiments set for this card!!!

The chipboard snowflakes are by Tattered Angels and they are lightly sponged with Antique Linen distress ink.  The seam binding bow was made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.  I cut the sentiment out with a Spellbinders Oval and used the ODBD/Spellbinders Elegant Ovals for the frame!

And here is my next card:

I don't believe it myself but this is actually kind of masculine!  Not the easiest type of card for me to create!!!  LOL!!!  I just love this manger scene set called Away in a Manger!

The manger image is stamped with Vintage photo ink and cut out with a Spellbinders rectangle.  Then I popped it up on a layer made with Spellbinders Labels 23.  I stamped the angel and cut it out with another Spellbinders Oval to attach to the main image.  I added the jute twine and a clear rhinestone to complete the card!

Your next stop is to the blog of
Kathy Roney!

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!!!
