Summer Lovin'

I haven't done a sneak peek for a while but I have one for you today!   This is for the Free For All challenge on SCS yesterday, something that makes you feel summery.  Well, this is actually what makes my hubby feel summery!  Golf!  Lol!  I free hand cut the grass panels and the flag pole.  The clouds are a stamp in a North Coast Creations set called Something Marvelous.   The golf ball is the center of the flower from the Aster dies.  And, here is where the peek comes in...the pennant letters and pennant die cut are part of the new release coming out on July 1st from ODBD!!!

You Hold the Key to my Heart

Somewhere along the way, I have lost my mind!!   

I had made two cards and totally forgot to share them!  A sweet little bird reminded me about them yesterday!  Thank you little bird!  :)

This shabby card features the Key to Heaven stamp set from ODBD along with the Ornate Hearts dies, Angel Wings dies and Beautiful Borders dies. 

My second card today features The Cross and Flourished Label Borders, with Vintage Flourish Pattern dies and Beautiful Borders dies.  The paper is from the Christian Faith Paper Collection.  I also used the Chalkboard Lattice BG to stamp the paper with white distress paint.

Looking Back at the ODBD June Release!

My project today features the new Rose Bouquet set and the gorgeous

new Blushing Rose Paper Collection!  

I stamped the bouquet three times, colored them with copics and then fussy cut each one.  I cut different sections of roses for each layer.  I placed the bouquet on a die cut from the Vintage Flourish Pattern dies and added a pretty bow!  There is also a Beautiful Border die cut in the background!  Then I tucked a little birthday banner behind the bow to complete the card.

Happy Saturday y'all!!!

I wanted to play in the SCS Inspiration Challenge this morning so 

I chose this photo of white journals as my inspiration:

I love doing all white or almost all white cards! 

I colored the Rose image with copics and fussy cut them.  I place them on a Vintage Label that is embossed with a die from the Vintage Flourish Pattern die set.  I added some tulle and a pretty white bow too.

Good morning!

I have a card to share with you today!  Our Daily Bread designs has a new collection of gorgeous papers this month!  It's called Blushing Rose and the pack includes a couple of sheets of designs with the scripture or sentiment already done for you!!!  Just cut them out with the coordinating ODBD die!  I will be sharing this on the ODBD Blog for the ODBDSLC206 challenge to use pink, tan, and ivory or white!

Like a Rose...

 Hi there!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  

I have a card to share today!  Woohoo!  This one is for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #135, to create a card with scripture or encouraging sentiment.  This is a new set called My Friend from ODBD!  I stamped it three times, colored and cut out each layer to build up the rose.  I used a stylus on the backside to get some texture.

Red and white is so striking, don't you think?  The background is the Daisy Chain Background Die over the red.  And the sentiment is stamped onto the Vintage Flourish Pattern center die over the largest Vintage Label Die.

A Look Back at the NCC May Releases!

 Good morning!  

So glad to have you with us as we take a look back at the 

North Coast Creations May Release! 

I made two cards to share today! 

I used the Happy Camper set for this card, keeping a clean and simple style.  The trees are colored and cut out and two are popped up!  You could easily use the trees to create a Christmas card too!  But for today, it's Happy Trails to you....Until we meet again!...  Yeah you don't wanna hear me sing!!!  LOL!!

Here is my second card:

The Ballet set is just so girly!  

I used it with the ODBD Blushing Roses Paper Collection to make a pretty pink card!  I colored the ballet slippers and then cut them out.  The die cuts are from ODBD Vintage Label dies!

Here is my first card:

I just love the new Aster and Leaves dies!  Such a beautiful bloom!  I added some blush ink to the petals and put it all together adding a rhinestone for the center.  The scripture is from the new Cherry Blossom set.  I used the Vintage Flourish Pattern die to cut the background layer.  I added snippets of the Fancy Foliage die cuts as well as some rhinestones to complete the card.

My next card is a little bit shabby:

I used some of the new gorgeous Blushing Rose paper for this one.  I added some white paint to give it the whitewashed look.  The outside edges are lined with Beautiful Borders die cuts.  I colored the roses from the new set called Rose with copics and fussy cut them.  I adhered them to the Ornate Heart die cuts.  I completed the card with a pretty bow and some rhinestones!
