Another Look at the ODBD Mid-Month Release!

at the ODBD Mid Month New Release! 

Again, I have to say how much I love Stargazer Lilies!  Breathtakingly beautiful!  I colored the image from the set called Beauty, in lighter, 'vintage-y' colors to match the paper from the Shabby Rose paper collection.  I made a backdrop for the lilies with Ovals and Stitched Ovals along with the Boho Background dies.  I added some Beautiful Borders, seam binding and a little tag from the Mini Tags set.

 Hi there!  

I have a card for the ODBDSLC255 challenge that begins today!  

Lots of beautiful inspiration to jump start your creativity!

This cute little image from the ODBD Deep Waters set is quite fun to color! And making the little porthole was fun!  I used ODBD Circle Ornaments and ODBD Matting Circles dies to create it.  I used one of the ODBD Boho Background dies to do the outside edge and added a strip cut with an ODBD Leafy Edged Border.  I added the sentiment, a sweet little bow and a few sequins to complete the card!  Oh and also I added stickles to the image for a little sparkle!

This also fits the Color Challenge at Splitcoast today!

Looking Back at the ODBD September Release!

 

 Good morning and welcome!

Today, we are looking back at the 

September 1st Release from Our Daily Bread designs!

I am loving this sweet little kitten from the new The Cat's Meow set!  So fun to color!  And then to cut out with the matching Kitty dies is fantastic!!   I stamped the kitty two more times and cut out the bow and then just kitty's head.  I had to trim a little bit from around the neck.  I also used two Oval dies and Flourished Star Pattern die.  The papers are from the Blooming Garden collection and the Soulful Stitches collection.

Another September Release from ODBD!

Good morning! 

Our Daily Bread designs has a second release this month!  

We are so happy to have you join us as we share projects we made 

using the new releases!

 I am so excited about the new Leafy Edged Borders and Pretty Posies dies!  We can NEVER have too many dies, right???  :)  I was able to make a fun little pocket to hold a tag!  Behind the pocket is a panel embossed with the Boho Background die.  A Stitched Oval is the backdrop for the Pretty Posies and Fancy Foliage.  The tag die cut is from the Recipe Card and Tags set and the sentiment is from the new set called Beauty. The flowers and foliage are lightly colored with Pan Pastels with a small cotton ball.  I added pearls and a pretty seam binding bow to complete the card.

Here is my second card:

 Star Gazer lilies are some of God's most beautiful creations!  They are so gorgeous and an image of these flowers is in the new set called Beauty!  Even though this card is quite clean and simple, there are several layers!  I colored the flowers with copics and fussy cut them.  I stamped them again and colored just one of the flowers and cut it out so the lower flower is popped up over the image.  I cut one layer with one of the curvy edges in the Leafy Edge Borders and after adding it to a second panel, I cut it with the Boho Background outer edge.  I kind of took my fingernail and flayed out the edge to give it a ruffly look.  (I did that on the first card too!)  I added pearls and stickles to complete the card.

Birthday Hoot!

 Y'all these owls are so cute!!!  

This new set is called Who Loves You? and is from North Coast Creations!  And the set has its own Owl Family matching set of dies!  So fun!  

I am playing in the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast today.  

The inspiration this week is a Pinterest board of unbelievable cakes!  

Here is my inspiration piece.  I was inspired by the colors and of course the owl!  I colored with copics and cut everything out.  I also used several dies from ODBD: Doily, Pennant, and Layered Lacy Squares.

I had so much fun coloring this little kitty!  She is from the new The Cat's Meow set.  And then to be able to have a Kitty die to cut her out is so wonderful!  The little accessories are cute too!  I embossed the Shabby Rose Paper panel with a Flourished Star Pattern die and added a Beautiful Border.  The kitty is popped up over an Oval and Stitched Oval.  I added a Mini Tag stamped with a Mini Tag Sentiment and the two tiny little die cut charms from the Cats and Dogs dies to the bow to complete this card!

 Isn't this little image from Deep Waters so cute?!  I colored with copics and cut out with a Stitched Oval die and backed it with an Oval die cut.  The background is Shabby Rose Paper with a Boho Background die cut over it.  The outside edge is cut and embossed with the Flourished Star Pattern die.  I threaded the ribbon through a Beautiful Border, added some tulle and sequins.  The sentiment is cut with a Pennant die.  I finished the card with stickles to highlight the image!
