If Tears Could Build a Stairway...

Hi there!  Hope you all have been enjoying your summer!  It is HOT!!!

Well, I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made with the new ODBD set called Sharing Your Sorrow.  The one above I used a new Cuttlebug Embossing folder and a Prima Butterfly misted with Glimmer Mist along with a Prima Rose.  Tried to keep this one clean and simple.

This next one is still clean and simple but does have a busier patterned paper.

I sponged Antique Linen ink on the sentiment oval, added antique lace and pretty seam binding, and finished the card with a little butterfly and pearl.  The designer paper is also embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  2. Hi Sandee! Wow, both cards are beautiful! Soft and elegant...and I love that lacey look! And the butterflies perfectly placed! Not sure I'd want to bring anyone home from heaven but that sentiment would be great in a memory book I think.
Glad you could join us this week at SSiC!

  3. Sandee - I love both cards! The verse is so sweet and the papers create such moving cards. I love to see an element used in very different ways to make different cards. Thanks for sharing this week at SSiC.
    Blessings,
