Looking Back at the ODBD June Releases!

Welcome!
Today, we are taking a look back at the June releases from ODBD!

I focused on the Hello Sunshine stamp set and the Sunburst Background die.  I cut the scripture out with a Vintage Flourish Pattern die.  I layered this over a panel cut and embossed with the Cathedral Window die.  I tucked in some pieces of tulle behind this layer over the sunburst.  Then I added some Fancy Foliage and some flowers and leaves cut with the Birds and Nest dies.  The sunburst, the scripture panel and the flowers and leaves and foliage are all colored with Pan Pastels!

Here is another card:

For this card, I used Hello Sunshine again.  I masked off the Hello portion of the sentiment and cut it out with a Mini Tag die.  I stamped the fun face and cut it out with the circle from Recipe Card and Tags dies.  I cut and embossed the Sunburst Background die but this time I trimmed parts of it out, layering it over a sheet from the Vintage Ephemera Paper Collection. I framed it with a Spellbinders A2 frame to hide the edges of the sunburst.  I also cut out strips of the same paper to apply to the sun rays.  I added clouds from the Clouds and Raindrops dies and a pretty little bow to complete the card!  I almost forgot to mention that I put a little foam tape under the sunburst to pop it up a little from the paper underneath.

Here are all the ODBD supplies I used:

  1. HI Sandee the first card is so lovely in all cuts in white. What a brilliant way to create the sunshine rays for a fun little sunshine scene too.

  2. Your vintage designs are always so gorgeous, Sandee! Love the subtle color on your first card...so elegant, and cutting away parts of the rays is a creative and different way to use the sunburst! Both beautiful creations, my friend!
