Ho Ho Ho!

I made this card for today's Sketch Challenge at Splitcoast.  This adorable Santa is from the new Ho Ho Ho set from North Coast Creations!  I used beautiful papers from the ODBD Holly Jolly Collection.  I used ODBD Pierced Rectangles as well.  AND the little Pennant Flags are a sneak peek of a new die that will release tomorrow from ODBD!

Blessed with Joys of the Season and Rudolph!

 Good morning!  

I wanted to share a couple of cards I've made recently. 

The sentiment in the card above is from the new ODBD Joys of the Season set.  I cut it out with a Pierced Oval and the frame was created with Pierced Ovals and Rectangles.  The gorgeous paper is from the Snowflake Season Collection.  I also used a Snowflake Sky die, a Snow Crystals die, a Bitty Border, and the bow from the Circle Ornaments dies.

My next card is all about Rudolph!

This sweet little deer is from a new North Coast Creations set called Rudolph.  There is a coordinating die to cut him out too!  I created the background with water color and masking fluid on water color paper. I cut it out with ODBD lavish Layers which is popped up onto a layer cut with the Snowflake Sky die.

Isn't this Holly Jolly Paper Collection so festive?  The new Christmas Ornament set is a re-do of a former release and now has its own matching ODBD Custom Christmas Ornament die!  On my first card, I also used a Snowflake Sky die, Bitty Borders, Mini Bow, Lovely Leaves, and Circle Ornaments.

Here is my second card:

This time I created an all white card with just the pop of color in the Christmas Ornament. I added gold Wink of Stella and it sparkles nicely in real life!  I used Snowflake Sky, Snow Crystals, Lovely Leaves, and Ornate Ovals.  I added a gold bow to complete the card.

Welcome to the NCC November Release Hop!

Good morning!  

So happy to have you join us today as we share our projects with the

 North Coast Creations November Release!  

The Rudolph set with the coordinating Reindeer Die is absolutely adorable!  I colored Rudolph with copics and cut him out.  He is mounted over a layer I created with several ODBD dies: Ovals, Pierced Ovals, Snowflake Sky, Pierced Rectangles, Rectangles and Snow Crystals.  The sentiment is stamped onto an ODBD Mini Tag.  I added a pretty bow and stickles to complete the card!

Here is my second card:

Such a cute Santa from the new Ho Ho Ho set!!  I colored him to match the papers but it didn't photograph well.  He is fussy cut and mounted over the ODBD Snowflake Season paper and the snow bank is cut with an ODBD Leafy Edged Border.  I also used Pierced Rectangles, Snow Crystals and Snowflake Sky dies.  I finished the card with sequins and clear Wink of Stella.

Miracle of Christmas

 Hello there!

I had a chance to play in today's Mix-Ability challenge to use our leftover scraps of paper and to be inspired by the blog of StampinMathilda!  She uses inchies in her artwork quite often so that is what I went with.  I punched out lots of squares from various ODBD Christmas papers.  I glued them to card stock for stability and painted them with white gesso and glitter glue.  It is hard to see the glitter on the designer papers but it is there! 

The sentiment and Christmas lights images are from the ODBD Merry & Bright set.  There is a matching Christmas Lights die too!  I've also used three of the new Snow Crystals dies, Rectangles dies, Pierced Rectangles dies and Layered Lacey Ovals dies.

Flash Forward to Easter

Today's Ways to Use It Challenge at Splitcoast is to use critters on our cards!  Perfect timing because North Coast Creations just came out with a new Bunny die to fit with a prior Easter release set called Hippity Hoppity!  This bunny is so adorable!  He is tucked into a couple of layers of grass cut with the ODBD Grass Hill die.  I also used an ODBD Oval, Rectangle and Pierced Rectangle.  The sentiment is cut out with the smallest ODBD Ornate Ovals die.  The pretty papers are from the ODBD Easter Card Collection and Pastel Paper Packs.  I finished the card with a pretty seam binding bow.

Jesus is the Reason

Happy Wednesday!

I made a card for the Sketch Challenge at Splitcoast today.  I love the new Stamp/Die duo from Our Daily Bread Designs called Jesus Loves You.  There are several dies to choose from and quite a few sentiments for different occasions.  And the Snowflake Season Paper Collection is gorgeous!  Oh my goodness!  I added the new Snow Crystals and Christmas Lights too.  I colored with Pan Pastels and then covered the pieces with clear Wink of Stella to complete the card.

Another wonderful Stamp/Die Duo!  It is called Jesus Loves You and has sentiments and dies for many different occasions.  I created a background with a template I made with the Boho Background die.  I sponged blue ink and then added clear Wink of Stella to each area of blue.  I cut out the back ground panel with a Lavish Layers die and mounted it to a layer cut with one of the new Snowflake Sky dies.  I cut the word Jesus and then a few of the smaller dies from the new Snow Crystals dies.  I also cut out a Bitty Border.  Before adhering, each of these die cuts were lightly colored with the same blue ink and clear Wink of Stella.  This was a quick and easy card!
