The Cross

Hello again!  I made this card for the Splitcoast Free For All challenge today to use the negative piece of a die cut.  I used the Spellbinders Crosses 2.  I can't decide what sentiment to use but if I do it will probably go on the inside.  I don't want to take away from the power of the cross.

Goodnight all!!!  See you again soon!

Peace

Good morning!  I have a couple of quick cards to share today!
Our Daily Bread designs has two new sets featuring Christmas trees and
I have been having tons of fun with them!
The card above is a clean and simple card using the negative oval cut out as a frame for the tree.  I colored the tree with copics and added some stickles for a little bit of sparkle.  Then I added the Spellbinders banner to complete the card!  This is for the Free For All challenge on Splitcoast today.

This card is also clean and simple with a country flair.  The tree is colored with copics and again I added some stickles.  I cut out the image with the ODBD Spellbinders Custom Elegant Oval die and spnged the edges.  The designer paper is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  I threaded ribbon through the vintage lace and glued to the card .  Then I glued down the tiny bow made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker along with the tiny tag punched with an SU! punch.  This card is for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge this week!

Both cards are also for the Christmas Card Challenge 2012!
Thanks so much for stopping by on this Friday morning!  Enjoy your weekend!

Granny Smith Apple Wreath

Hi there!  Hope you are having a good week!
Same old, same old around here!  LOL!!!
I thank the Lord though for same old, same old, ya know?  How about you?

I have fallen in love with this Apple Wreath set from Our Daily Bread designs!  It is just so FALL!!!

I colored the wreath with copics and cut it out.  I also stamped and colored two more apples and cut them out.  I used a stylus on the underside of the wreath and apples to give the cut out a little bit of texture.  I decided to 'hang' the wreath from the Spellbinders ODBD Custom Window Die cut using a pretty seam binding bow I made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.  I attached the window to a layer that is embossed with the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares.

I added the other two apples and covered all the apples with Glossy Accents.

And that is it!  So glad you could visit today!  Happy Fall Y'all!

If not, head over to the ODBD Blog so you won't miss anything!

Kelley, I am so blessed by you!
You are treasured friend and I hope your birthday is the most wonderful birthday ever!

To make this card I used the following:

I know it says Fish Embossing Plate but it really is the Vintage Plate.  This will be corrected in the catalog soon!  I also used Prima Meadowlark designer paper, a Spellbinders Circle, and Spellbinders Scalloped Labels One.  There are two strips of beautiful lace as well as Zva pearls.  I added a pretty button from my stash on top of the bow and glued another pearl to the top!  Lots of sponging with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink and a little bit of Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Mist finishes the card!

Now I will send you on your way to the amazing Sabrina!!!

We thank you so much for joining us in wishing our Kelley a wonderful birthday!!!
Enjoy the hop and see you again soon!

What are the Odds?

Hi there!  I have a card to share using the new Apple Wreath set from ODBD!   The Ways to Use it Challenge at SCS today is to use an odd number of something.  So, three apples should do it!  This card is clean and simple even with all the layers.  I used Spellbinders Scalloped Labels One to emboss the card base and then layered Labels One dies over the embossing.  I stamped a portion of the apple wreath three times so I could color and cut out the three apples.  They are attached with foam tape.  You can see here how the Apple Wreath stamp set looks:

I masked the sentiment and stamped it and then added the dots and bow.  I made the bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker!  Love that thing!!!

Well thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a wonderful evening!

Peace Love and Joy

Hi everyone!!!  Hope all is well with you and yours!  I have another Christmas card to share!
I have used the following ODBD sets:

is new this month and it coordinates perfectly with Sacred Season!

I stamped the carol and then cut it out with the Spellbinders Labels 26.  This is layered over Spellbinders Marvelous Squares, one cut out and the bottom layer embossed on the card base.  A strip of vintage lace is across the music layer along with seam binding.  I stamped the pine cone and colored it with copics and cut it out to hang underneath the button and bow.  The sentiment is cut out with the Spellbinders Custom ODBD Elegant Ovals die.  I stamped a few pine needles around the edge of the oval and outlined the oval and the label with stickles.  I also added stickles to the pine cone.  The pretty seam binding bow was made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.

I am linking this card to the following challenges:

and

and for the ongoing SCS Christmas Card Challenge 2012!
Thanks for stopping by and I pray you have a most wonderful Wednesday!

NEWS FLASH!!!

Our Daily Bread designs has a brand new website, and it opens today!

You’re going to love how pretty it is, and how easy it is to maneuver! So have a look, and don’t forget to bookmark the new web store so you go to the right place to order or for inspiration!

For my projects today,
I used the O Christmas Tree set, the Perfect Gift set, and the O Christmas Tree Carol.

I love a pink Christmas card, don't you?  This paper was in my stash and the cover of the pack is long gone.  I believe it was either Martha Stewart or Anna Griffin. I colored the tree with copics and cut it out with the ODBD Spellbinders Custom Elegant Ovals die.  The oval is popped up over a Spellbinders Labels 23 and a strip of Spellbinders Lace border (I can't remember the name and I can't find it in the Spellbinders store).  I made the pretty seam binding bow with Becca's Peg Bow Maker.  The presents were cut out and popped up with foam tape. I added glossy accents to the Christmas ornaments too.

Here is a look at the inside with matching paper border and a sentiment from the same Perfect Gift set.

Here is my second card for the hop today!

The spellbinders Labels 25 makes such a pretty shaped card!  The background is stamped with the carol in Vintage Photo distress ink and the edges are sponged.  The tree is colored with copics, painted with white acrylic paint and then glitzed with stickles!  I added a few silver balls too.  The bow was made with Becca's Peg Bow Maker and the flower was made with the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms!

Now I will send you on your way….
your next stop is to the amazingly talented Chris!

Thanks you so much for joining us today!!!  See you again soon!
